"Jaemin?"

I groaned and covered my head with my pillow as a voice jolted me from a peaceful sleep. "What, Yugyeom?" I called back in a groggy manner.

The door to my bedroom was pushed ajar and he peeked inside. "You're finally awake? We have school," he huffed. Yugyeom shaking his head, he walked in and pulled the blankets off of me. "Get up."

I rubbed my eyes and mumbled something inaudible before rolling over to look at my clock. "I thought it was Saturday. Get out."

"You better hurry. If you're late to school one more time you know they'll give you an ASD," he pointed out.

"Thanks, but I already knew that. Get out." I threw my pillow at him, to which he only snorted and stepped out of my room.

I let out a long breath and ran my fingers through my hair, ruffling it. Mornings suck. I pulled my phone out to open my notifications I received during my slumber.

What did I see? The date.

Saturday, September 16th, 2018

"Yugyeom?" I called out, yawning.

"Yeah?"

"Come here, look at this."

After a moment of waiting, I heard footsteps approach my room and my door creaked open. My brother was revealed once more. "What?" he questioned.

I pulled open my phone's calendar and stood up, approaching Yugyeom. Slowly as I stared at him in annoyance, I turned my screen his direction to read today's date.

"...Yep." Yugyeom chuckled and shrugged. "Don't be mad at me. You fell for it," he smiled.

"Don't be mad at you- Shut up. You were the one to wake me up early to trick me in the first place. Don't even turn this around on me. Leave."

"Jeez," he laughed, putting his hands up in a sign of surrender. "Alright."

I groaned and fell back onto my bed the moment he left. I shut my eyes, letting the darkness behind my eyelids pull me into another sleep for a few more hours.

After waking up a while later, I laid there for a moment before sitting up. I rubbed my eyes and stood up, dragging my feet over to the window to open my curtains. Eyes squinted against the sunlight, I turned back around and walked out of my room, downstairs.

"Morning. Breakfast is in the kitchen," my mom announced with a yawn.

"Okay, thanks," I nodded, strolling into the kitchen as she said. I got out a plate from the cupboard and began putting food on it when I heard the front door open, the close.

"Whose bike is outside the house?" Yugyeom's voice called as I heard his footsteps come closer to mine. I turned my head to glance over my shoulder at my brother.

"Dunno," I replied. "Well, what's it look like?" I questioned, turning back to face the food. I finished piling it onto my plate and went around Yugyeom to sit at the table.

He shrugged. "It's gray and white. And has a few light pink accents on it." I looked over at him, an eyebrow raised as I chewed my first bite of food.

"I don't recognize the description," I told him after the food was swallowed.

Yugyeom's brows furrowed and he watched me eat for a few seconds before going, "Come look at it."

I parted my lips, letting out a slight laugh. "Why does this random bike concern you so much?" I asked, partially genuinely curious.

"Well." He thought for a moment before sighing. "I don't know. It looks cool- and expensive," he uttered. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.

"I'll go look at it later. Maybe it's one of my friends' who possibly left it here."

Yugyeom nodded, somewhat satisfied with my reply. "Kay." He smiled and left me alone in peace again as he walked back outside.

I finished up my breakfast and rose to my feet, taking my dishes in my hands and bringing my feet over to the kitchen. After placing my plate and such into the sink, I jogged up the stairs to get freshened up for the day.

Once I finished that, I went downstairs and slipped on some shoes before reaching out to twist the door handle. I pulled the door open and stepped outside into the autumn air. I sucked in a small breath of fresh air and shut the front door behind me.

"Jaemin!" Yugyeom called. I turned towards his voice, seeing him approach me. "Hi, finally. The bike's over there." He pointed to the other side of the driveway and I slowly nodded.

"Wow, thanks. I would've never found it if you didn't tell me that." I moved over to the bike and observed it. "Yeah, I've never seen it before." I reached towards a little piece of paper tied to the handlebars from a little string. "You never thought to read this when you first found it?" I laughed lightly, glancing at Yugyeom.

He just shrugged. "I didn't notice that. Oops."

Rolling my eyes, I took the paper and opened it up, reading the pencil-scribbled letters on the sheet.

----------

Heyy. You're probably wondering where this bike came from, yeah? Well, I noticed your bike was stolen the other day at school, making you walk home, so I got you this new one. Be careful with it. It isn't the cheapest bike out there!!

P.S. If this isn't enough information, this is for Jaemin.

I laughed, holding the note up in Yugyeom's face. "Ha! It's my bike now!"

Yugyeom took my wrist and pulled the note a bit away from his face so he could actually read it. "Wha- That isn't fair."

"Yes it is. Whose bike got stollen?" I giggled, shrugging.

"Yours," Yugyeom replied and let out a quiet groan. "Still though. I want a new bike too."

I smiled to him, patting his head. "Well, you don't get one- unless you want to buy it yourself!" With that said, Yugyeom shook his head.

"Nope, not worth it." And he walked off. I laughed and nodded.

"Alright then," I mumbled to myself. I took my new bike by the handles and put it in the garage. As I was doing so, I hummed to myself, eyes scanning it over briefly. Who gave this to me? I want to thank them.
