I was driven to school by May the next day. Sasha sat next to me in the back. It was a beautiful California day. "There's the pros and the cons in California", I said. "More pros babe", Sasha said. So, what I did at that moment in time was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I read the book "Perks of Being a Wallflower" in 6th grade. I told May to drive threw a tunnel. When she did, I stood up on the seat of her convertible. And I screamed. I was in a state of happiness. No I wasn't high, nor was I hyper. My mind calmed down and I was so happy. As we reached the parking lot, I saw a couple of kids standing by two filled parking spaces and one empty one. We parked in the empty one. As we walked out, a bunch of people greeted us with delight. There was a tall, cute boy with a jersey on who walked up to me. "Hey I'm Scout", he said. "Your hot", I mumbled. "I didn't quite get that, what did you say?", he said with confusion. "Oh, um, I'm Violet", I lied. We shook hands. He had a firm grip. I liked that. We talked a bit more. He was so nice. As you can tell, I had a moment of freedom and I have developed a crush. The morning was the best thing I thought could ever happen to me. But, it got better.
