She bled silver
And he bled gold.
They were so entranced
By the intricate colored plasma
They didn't notice
How they faded awayIt started slowly
Like an addiction
One cut, two cut, three cuts more
And nobody noticed
Or they didn't care
It didn't matter to themThe signs were all there
Behind the fake smiles
And the pretty little lies
Tied everything up
Into a nice bow
Everyone hoping to see the showAnd then their eyes met
Hurting to hurting
And it's as if a piece
Stopped it's yearning
Ever so slightly
They stopped their longingThey did not fix each other
By no means did they
But they made it easier
By having someone there
To stay alive for
And to smile for—————————————-
