"And If You Have Any Problems With Them Don't Hesitate To Come And See Me" The Lady Smiled. I Nodded And Headed Out The Large Glass Doors Of The Opticians. It Had Been Two Days And My Vision Was Still Blurred So Barry Arranged For Me To Get A Pair Of Glasses. I Paced Down The Busy High Street To The Bus Stop. The Boney Elbows Of A Few Pedestrians Stabbed Me In The Arm. I Didn't Look Up Though; I Couldn't.
I Reached The Stop Quick Time, Only To Find It Was Packed With People. I Sighed Heavily And Edged Past This Crowd Of Unfamiliar Faces. I Jogged Steadily To The Next Bus Stop Which Was Thankfully Empty.
"Oi My Size!" An Intimidating Voice Yelled From Down The Street. I Was About To Look Around And See Who This Person Was Talking To But I Decided Not To In Case I Scared Anyone. Heavy Footsteps Clomped Towards Me And My Heart Began Pumping Louder Than The Horn Of A Car.
"Wagwarn Beeh!" The Shock Finally Set In When I Realized This Person Was Talking To Me. My Hand Instantly Shot Up And Covered My Face, I Made It Look Like The Sun Was In My Eyes. I Peeped Through The Gap Between My Fingers To Take A Look At This Person. Hmm He Looked Familiar... And Scary.
"You Don't Look Like A Size 6.." I Furrowed My Brow.
"What The Fuck Yuh On About?" He Chuckled And Perched Next To Me On The Bus Stop Bench. I Slid Away From Him A Bit, I Tried To Make It So He Didn't Realize.
"Don't Worry.." I Coughed And Looked Out For The Bus. None In Sight.
"So What You Saying?" Huh? I Don't Recall Me Saying Anything Other Than Don't Worry. Hmm.. Maybe He's Hearing Stuff...
He Waved In My Face. I Stared At Him Through The Cracks In My Fingers.
"Did You Hear Me?" He Tilted His Head In Confusion.
"Yes... But I Don't Know How To Answer You Because I Didn't Say Anything." He Just Shook His Head.
"Where You Headed Beeh?"
"Home.."
"Kool. So Can Man Get Your Number?" Why Was This Random Guy Reffering To Himself In Third Person. Had My Looks Effected His Eyes AND His Brain?
"A Number Of What?" I Asked, Confused.
"As In Your Phone Number"
"I Don't Have A Phone, Sorry" He Was Making Me Very Uncomfortable. Where Was This God Forsaken Bus?!
"Oh. Peak Times!" I Stared At Him Blankly. Doesn't Anyone These Days Speak Decent English?
"Well Do You Have Facebook?"
"No Sorry. I Don't Own Any Books About Faces" His Mouth Dropped Open. No Seriously, It Was Like The Balance Between Gravity And Upthrust Became Unbalanced. Then He burst Out Laughing. It Was Actually Scary, His Eyes Were Bulging Out And All Sorts. He Was Making Me Agitated So I Stood Up And Went Into To Middle Of The Road To See If I Could Get A Better View Of This Bus. I Could See It Coming In The Distance So I Ran Back Onto The Concrete Pavement.
"Bye" I Said Quickly As The Bus Pulled Up To The Stop. I Got On And Sat In My Usual Place: Right At The Front Where It Said It Elderly People. I Could Hear His Laughing Growing Into An Eruption. Jesus, What Was Wrong With Him?

I Stepped Into The Care Home And It's Like I Could Almost Smell The Unhappiness In The Air. I Lunged Up The Stairs And Into My Small Box Bedroom. The Air Was Thick And I Could Merely Breath. A Bantam Mouse Scampered Across The Rotten Floorboards In Attempt To Make It To Safety. Of Course It Didn't Make It Across Without Me Making An Endeavor To Pummel It With My Lonsdale Trainer. It Went Somewhere Underneath My Bed And My Feet Shot Up Instantaneously To The Safety Of My Bedside Table. I Vowed Not To Leave The Bed And Rocked Myself To Sleep.

The Next Morning I Woke Up With A Huge Pain In The Arch Of My Back. I Dipped My Hand Behind Me And Retrieved A Hard Object. I Neared It Towards My Face. It Was A Brick. I Slipped On My Glasses And Inspected It Closer. An Elastic Band Was Tied Onto It With A Piece Of Crumpled Up Paper Slipped In-between. I Sat Up And Pulled The Paper From It. As I Slowly Unfolded The Paper I Felt A Cold Breeze Coming From The Left Side Of Me. I Looked Over To The Source And Saw My Bedroom Window Smashed. Shards Of Glass Covered The Entire Floor Surface. Fear Took Over Me As I Finally Uncurled The Paper Completely. I Slowly Read The Letter;
One Day I Hope To Free You From This Place You Call Hell.
I Didn't Know Whether To Be Happy Or Scared... Who Am I Kidding? Im Always Scared....
