The golden fox

The past.

Long ago about several hundred years ago, Yoko Kurama was known through out all the demon world as a notorious thief. There wasn't any lock or seal that he didn't find interesting to break and take the treasure that hid behind it. But one day when he went to take a treasure he was interested in, it was gone. the seal had already been broken and the guards of the castle were frantic trying to figure out where it went. All that was left behind were a few strands of what looked to be golden hair. This wasn't the first but it would soon become many and a battle to see who would get the treasure first. He started calling the other thief the golden thief, meaning for the gold strands of hair that was always left behind. One day he was in a small town and the talk of the golden thief turned up and someone said that they saw the thief and it looked to be a fox with golden fur and it was carrying a necklace(that Yoko wanted) in its mouth. This was strange to him because he never saw another fox like him but at the same time he was interested because that meant this fox was his rival and he wanted to find out who this golden fox was. He left the town and went back to his hideout and told the others of what he found out. Weeks later they set out to another castle with an orb that was said to show the whoever had it their most wanted desire. They left early and as they got there Yomi pointed out a small fox running up to the castle. This fox had golden fur and as it got to a window, vines grew up from the ground and it ran up the vines and into the window. Yoko told the others he would follow the golden fox in his fox form and to get inside themselves and disable the traps. He then turned into his fox form and ran off after the golden fox the same way it went in. Once inside Yoko followed the golden fox into the treasure room. Upon getting in there he saw smoke swirl around the fox and once it cleared his golden eyes widened. This golden fox was in fact a female. He turned back into his demon form and studied her as she walked over to where the orb was sealed off. She indeed had long golden hair, plus the fur of her tail and ears matched her hair. Her back was facing him so he couldn't see her face but she was wearing a short kimono that the bottom of it went to the middle of her thigh. He stepped closer to get a good look at her but kicked something over and made a noise. She quickly turned around and looked back at him. He saw her face and her silver eyes narrowed at him. She gave sly smirk and spoke, "Well well well if it isn't Yoko Kurama. Your pretty famous for being a thief and a pervert with the females. Allow me to introduce myself before i finish breaking the seal and take the orb. My name is Tora Kimiko and oh you won't be getting any more valuable treasures as long as I'm around." She giggles and turns back to finish breaking the seal. Her saying that made him mad so he took the chance while her back was turned and attacked her with one of his many plants he always had. She jumped out of the way and landed on top of a treasure pile. "Oh now that's not very nice. Attacking someone when they back is turned. Your going to regret doing that." She held her arm out and vine burst from her sleeve and headed toward him. they fought for a good fifteen minutes before Yomi burst through the doors. When that happened the seal that she was secretly working on with the use of her vines broke and she took the orb and darted up to the high window. She blew Yoko a kiss and said "I would love to stay and play some more but i have to return my treasure to my hideout." On that note she jumped out the window and seem to vanish into the night. Losing that orb did not make Yoko very happy. If fact it made him so mad. He bets that she doesn't even know how to use it. What made him more curious is where did she come from and was this going to be an thing between them? Would they keep battling it out for various treasures or would they end up working together?
