Chapter 1

My new life.

Vanessa p.o.v

Hi I'm Vanessa and I probably the shyest person you will ever meet. I have no friend and I don't have siblings because I'm a foster child and let's just say I've been to hell and back my whole life because my dad is in jail for killing my mom......

*FLASHBACK*

I was only 12 when my dad started doing drug cause he lost his job and he was "stress" out . Well that's what my mom said anyway. she was always happy and I don't know why .

One night my mom went out with her friends and she called my dad to came pick her up but as always he was drunk. When they got home my dad started yelling like crazy and started abusing my mom (like always) and I got my moms phone and I called 911 . I told them what happen.

When I went to go put my moms phone back I saw my dad dragging her and she was covered in blood and she was died. I didn't realize it until the police came and toke her to the hospital and told me .

I cried my eyes out. I cried about 20 days straight. I was depressed. they told me that they were going to put my dad in jail and they were going to put me in a foster home. And I was out of it . I went to a cabinet and toke a knife out and started cutting myself.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I'm 18 now and I finally get to leave this place! I'm so excised ! I was going to live with my cousin Andrea. she was always there for me so she said I could live with her in Cali. I live in Washington and I'm flying out to Cali to start a new life!

I was so scared but I don't like it here so I'm out!

I was on the plane on my way to Cali . When I got off my back was killing me ! It hurt like a bitch! I called a taxi and I told him were to take me . When I got there I was so happy to see Andrea!

But I was a little confused when I saw her standing with a cute guy .

"VANESSA I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" Andrea said hugging me

"I MISSED YOU TOO" I said hugging her back.

The cute guy went to the taxi and started taking my bag out.

" Oh ..um I can take my bags it's ok" I said to the guy .

"No it's ok let me help you" he said.

" Oh thanks" I said.

"OH I almost forgot Vanessa this is Alex, Alex this is Vanessa " Andrea said.

"Hi nice to met you" I said.

"Nice to met you too" he said.

" He's my boyfriend Vanessa and he lives down the street" Andrea said .

"Yea um would you like to be shown around Cali?" He ask nicely.

"Um... " I look at Andrea and she nods her head "sure"

"Great ill get my brother to show you around" he said.

Wait did he just say brother?? I have to meet another person ? oh my gosh I'm so scared.! I will be so stupid around him! ugh! this Is bullshit.

"Hey don't be nerves." Andrea can read me like a book it's scary

Alex came back with his brother and he was fine! He was so cute but I was always shy around Boys so this is not going to be good..
