Manami is now inside of Karma's apartment and they are now sitting face to face on his dining area, each with a cup of tea.
After her sister left, he briefly bade farewell towards their friends and dragged her, never once letting her go, until they reached his flat.
She was startled when he broke the silence.
"You should've just asked me about it instead of breaking up with me."
She did not answer. What can she possibly say? That he's right? That she should have done that?
No. She can't answer or say anything now.
She was at fault.
"Manami."
She continued staring at her cup.
"Manami, look at me."
Still not looking.
"Please."
She gasped. That word never was uttered by this guy before. He was already begging her.
She flinched when he had grasped her hands, making her - finally, look at the man in front of her.
He looked straight into her eyes.
Eyes that is now full of emotion.
Regret, longing, love...
She had never seen Karma this vulnerable.
This overwhelming feeling.
She have to stop being silent.
"Karma... I'm sorry. "
He gave her his rarest smile. "Don't be. I'm also at fault for not asking you when I've already noticed you, acting odd. I'm sorry. "
"No. No, it's not you. I... I should have asked you then. If I had done that then we wouldn't have... " a tear fell from her eye. "I'm sorry. "
He stood up making her do the same, and gave her a hug. A very tight hug.
This feels right. Oh, how I've missed him.
"Ah, this feels right... I've missed you, Manami."
She can't help but cry again, now in his arms, and returned the hug.
They felt the same. It made her happy.
She felt him kiss her temple.
"I love you. "
She smiled. "I also... And I think will always... Love you too, Karma. "
And for the first time, after their long break-up, they've shared a kiss.
But it was to short of a bliss when they've heard poppers and cheers.
"Congratulations on getting back together! " Class 3-E cheered.
The latest couple looked around and saw their blue haired friend grin. "What?..." Nagisa then gave an innocent smile. "It's just... payback time. "
