Into the woods

I can't look back, my past is behind me. Brother is gone, I can't stay. I need to find the box, he told me it was here! What's that sound, who's there? Suddenly everything stops, it's silent, I see the box. As I step into the light, I see it move. Beautiful I say, just how he explained it.

Out of nowhere a giant green creature with scales longer than my arm jumps in front of me. As I reach out to touch it's head I can feel it breathe on me. My heart racing, hands trembling, but the beast stays there, looking at me. I now know that it won't hurt me.

It carefully backs off of me. I go and pick up the box then I start looking for a place to sleep. The beast lays down and flips it's tail a couple of times signaling me to get on it's back. I climb on. It stands up and runs.

It finally stops, as I open my eyes I see what looks like an abandoned village with a big open center. The beast lays down in the middle and I get off. There are houses on the outside of the village. I walk into one that has a huge closet with lots of clothes. I pulled out a long green dress that is almost the same color as the beast. After I got the dress on I was just about to go when out of the corner of my eye I seen a safe in the wall. It seemed to be open. I looked inside only to find a note with the code to the safe, so I grabbed the box and put it inside.

When I came out I decided to get back on the beast. It rushed over to a tree. At the bottom of the tree there was a door with a small gold handle. I stood there for a while looking at the beast. I open the door I see a man laying down on a bed that, looked very old.

He had a fine face, slender body, hazel eyes and dark brown hair with blonde tips. He looks about 18 which is only a year older than me. He turns to look at me. Our eyes meet, and I slowly go to him. He looks at me and says you need to go, so I leave and go back to the tree where I fall asleep.
