Beautiful Lady Sucks

Percy P.O.V

"Percy. Duck!" Grover yelled. I immediately hit the ground, Grover's crutches (a.k.a. knife) flew past above me, slicing the vampire into half. "I'll get you Pers..." The vampire didn't get to finish her sentence before disintegrate into dust.

"You okay?" Grover asked, helping me up.

"Yeah... How long till we reach camp?" I asked miserably, tired of all these attacks, tired of being chased around the country. We have no food, no transport.

"We're close." Grover looked around as if he smelled another monster nearby.

**************************Flashback a few minutes ago******************************

Grover and I were walking along the streets towards camp, the street was deserted today, it was only me and Grover. He was explaining about all the Gods and monsters, how the gods have behave throughout the millenia, how demigods were killed by monsters and et cetera.

"Then who is my Dad?" I questioned. I remembered my mom told me that my dad went sailing before I was born and... he never came back. I thought my dad was dead. Now, Grover told me my dad is one of the Olympian. I felt a little happy when he said my dad isn't dead.

"I don't know Perce. We have to get to camp. Then maybe he will claim you at the campfire or something." He explained.

"Excuse me, can you show me the way to this building?" A girl interrupted, handing us a card that shows a small map. We were so into our conversation, we didn't even realize there was a girl. The girl was kind of beautiful. She had this straight blonde hair that came to her shoulder, her blue eyes were so attractive and she's wearing a green dress that somehow matches her blue eyes.

"Sorry... We are not from this city, and we're in a hurry. Come on, Perce." Grover stammered, pulling me along. He was looking pretty nervous and I don't know why.

"Please.. at least take a look. Maybe you know where it is." The beautiful girl exclaimed.

"No.. Sorry.. we can't--" I cut Grover off, "Of course we can! Let us take a look." I pulled Grover back to the girl and took a look at the card. I don't know why Grover's being so rude. It's not like the girl is a monster or something.

"You look so handsome, young man." The girl reach out her hand, attempt to touch my cheek. I didn't even back away, I was so obsessed by her beautiful blue eyes.

"Sorry.. We really don't know where the place is." Grover snatched the card from my hand and put it in her hand. He pulled me down the streets, which I immidiately stopped him.

"Grover! What are you doing? You are being so rude!" I scolded.

"Percy! You have to wake up. Look at her! She is a--" Grover whispered, but immediately cut off by the girl. "Young man. Please help me. I'd just moved here yesterday." The girl plead.

I was about to walk back towards the girl when Grover held my arm. "She is a monster! Can't you see it!" Grover yelled. I was shocked when he said she's a monster, because she does not looked like a monster.

"Oh, don't listen to him. He is just jealous I like you more." She explained, but something had changed. She looked pale than before. I didn't move anymore. Something tells me Grover was right.

"Come here, young man, maybe we could be friends." Her voice is just like a lullaby, luring me towards her. Snapped out of it! I shook my head, attempt to clear my thoughts. When I looked back, she had started to change. Her skin is as white as chalk and her eyes are completely red. Did I forget to mention her fangs? Her fangs are so sharp, it's like she sharpen it with a sharpener. But the weird thing is her legs. One of her legs was brown and shaggy with a donkey's hoof. The other leg was shaped like a human leg, but it was made of bronze. She's just looked like a vampire, but only uglier than those you've seen in movies.

"Umm.. How about we run right now?" I whispered to Grover. He just nodded in response, we immediately turned our backs and ran a fast as we could.

"I told you she isn't human!" Grover shouted, I didn't response as I felt guilty for not listening to Grover.

"Come back Perseus Jackson!" Althought she had mismatched legs, but she can ran pretty fast. We ran past a restaurant when she caught Grover's arm and pulled him back. She was about to suck his blood by the neck. So, I used the nearby chair to hit her from behind.

She snarled and turned towards me. "You're going to get it, Perseus!" She hissed. Before I can run, I heard Grover asked me to duck. Naturally, I hit the ground and Grover's crutches sliced the vampire into half. "I'll get you, Pers..." She disintegrate into dust.

So now, we're still on our way to camp. The worst thing is I didn't get a chance to phone my mom. She must be worried sick by now and I'm feeling guilty for letting her worried. Grover also said that I can't go home right now or else the monsters will follow me home and my mom will be in danger too. I can't let anything or anyone hurt my mom, she's the only family I had left, aside from the godly parent.

"We're here." Grover said, breaking my trains of thought, I didn't even realized we were walking in the woods. Grover led me to a big house and I immediately saw a guy, his lower part of the body is a horse and the upper part is human. "That is Chiron." Grover introduced.

"Ah... I see you've made it.--" Chiron said, we stopped in front of him. "--it's about dinner time, how about you introduced Perseus to the Hermes Cabin."

Grover lead me to the Hermes Cabin. The cabin was painted brown and a winged pole with two snakes wrapped around it was over the doorway. I think they called it... Caduceus.

"Hi. I'm Connor Stoll and this is my brother, Travis. You must be new here. Umm... How about you get yourself ready, 'cuz it's time for dinner." The guy, Conner said. I think they're twins because they look alike, with the same brown hair and that mischievous grin, like they're about to pick your pocket anytime.

All the campers in Cabin 11 were ready. So, we walked to the mess hall pavilion together. That's when I saw a familiar girl with blonde hair, walking in her group, toward the mess hall too.
