Prologue

The year is 193 AH. One hundred and ninety three years ago an event called the Hit had taken place, witch changed the planet Earth and it's people forever.  A large comet was heading toward Earth at a speed just under light speed.  This was a very strange comet in the fact that it seemed to slow down the closer it had gotten to our solar system.  It's reduction of speed was confirmed by NASA in the year 2022 , it was estimated to pass our planet in the year 2030. As NASA studied the comet they had found nothing of any true note about it other than its uniqueness in speed change and color, it seemed to fluctuate between red , blue , and green.  In the year 2028 an an emergency UN meeting was held with the primary topic being the approaching comet.  In this meeting a unanimous decision was made to have a global ceasefire until the comet had passed. 

   After the ceasefire of 2028 , the whole world for once in its entire history had been at peace.  With no wars and no endless debates that settle nothing , the true problem issues of the world where being addressed and the people of the Earth reached a new sense of humanity.  All were well by 2029 ,with homes being made from large 3D printers by the thousands and food being harvested and replanted all at once in new giant greenhouses , shelter and hunger were no more.

   One of the largest groups to push the movement to help out humanity as a whole was called Stjärnans Ordning or The Order of the Star.  The Order had been crated by a billionaire named Giannis Rothstella.  He believed the comet to be a divine sign to unite and help others , so he poured out all of his family's vast resources in to the further meant of mankind as a whole.  As the year 2030 neared the people of Earth where in a sense all holding hands as one.  Then it happened , instead of passing the planet by it did just the opposite , it had gotten caught in the Earth's gravitational pull and had formed an orbit that lasted for three days before finally falling.  During its orbit the comet's tail had formed a ring around the planet and some large fragments of the comet had stayed in orbit and acted like two new moons.  However the most life changing thing about the comet was the Hit.  After its decent to the planet , it split in to two major peices , one landed near the Rocky mountains in North America and the other near the Swiss Alps. 

  The area of impact was almost completely destroyed by the radiation of the comet and the shear weight and mass of such a large object hitting the planet.  In addition to two large inhabitable zone on the planet and hundreds of thousands dead ,  a trail of irradiated debris was left almost linking one impact site to an other. 
 
  The world was never the same , the new ring and moons caused huge fluctuations in the sea level and the Earth's magnetic sphere.  With in some areas of the planet the sudden rise or loss of the sea level had caused floods and droughts like the people of Earth had never seen before.  Some areas were hit with new kinds of weather and others with a exponential increase in oxygen. 
Some of the new weathers were the falling of the irradiated debris from the ring , catastrophic electrical storms , and the appearance of the aurora borealis though out most of the planet. 

After The Hit the people were thrown in to chaos by the new planet that they lived on.  A few groups or individuals tried to lead and keep the people together , but most failed.  In the first years that followed The Hit , small wars had broken out throughout the planet and it seemed as though all was lost.  That was until a man fighting in the irradiated trace of the comet had been hit by an explosion and lost his left arm.  Bleeding out and losing his consciousness he tore off a bit of clothing from the corpse next to him and put it on to the wound only to find that it had a small fragmentation of the comet's trace in it, the very instant the fragmentation met his genetic material a bionic arm was regrown and his pain subsided , in addition to this he had a vision of a giant star coming back to the planet Earth to welcome the people and elevate them into a Divine existence amongst the cosmos.  This man happened to be Giannes Rothstella.   After surviving the battle the news of his new regrown arm had reached all the corners of the Earth.  The people in the Americas sought to study the fragmentations from a distance in labs and other controlled environments , while the people in the Asia's and Europe's had taken a more direct approach to studying the fragmentations and would they would ritualistically amputate a limb and regrow it with a fragmentation in following of Giannes Rothsella.  Upon further investigation and study the fragmentations all appeared to be a small gear or cog shaped like something you would see in a watch.  The Americas had United under a scientific banner calling themselves the People of the Cog , while on the other side of the Earth in the Asia's and Europe's those people had united under a ritualistic cult religion called The Order of the Star. 
Now almost two hundred years later after battle upon battle upon battle the Earth is truly divided by the P.O.C and The Order of the Star.
