Keep My Secret, I'll Keep Yours

Chapter 2

Naomi pulled her hair back into a ponytail as she walked further and further from her house, not really knowing where she was going. She took a deep breath and sped up heading for the woods. She couldn't shake the feeling that somebody was following her, so she broke out into a full on sprint.

Naomi sprinted into the woods, not knowing Crystal was following in curiosity. Naomi stopped, looked back, and shifted into her fox form. Crystal who was hidden behind a large tree, smiled knowing now she was not alone. There was more of her. Crystal stepped from behind the tree and shifted into her fox form. This shocked Naomi. "Keep my secret, I'll keep yours," Naomi whispered softly. Crystal nodded, agreeing to Naomi's deal. 

Meanwhile at the house, Declan and Parker quietly crept into Naomi and Crystal's room to check on them, in hopes to not wake them up. 

Declan slowly and quietly opened the door trying not to let the door make that creaky sound. He looked to Crystal's bed which was empty. He squinted and stepped into the room with Parker following him. He turned to Naomi's bed to see it empty as well. He then looked to the window that was the source of cold air entering. Declan gave a heavy sigh and pushed Parker aside, leaving the room to begin his search for Crystal and Naomi.

Meanwhile with Naomi and Crystal....

"No doubt they're looking for us right now," Naomi said glancing back to make sure they weren't behind them. (They weren't.) By now Naomi and Crystal were no longer in the woods, and were making their way into the city, in their human form of course. Crystal nodded, also looking back, wondering whether they should be doing this or not. Well, she knew they shouldn't be doing it, but there was no stopping Naomi when she was determined to break a rule. (Or several rules in this case.) 

About 1 hour later (8:30 pm)....

Naomi and Crystal wandered the streets of Seattle, looking around at the shops, vendors, and libraries. Despite the fact that they would be in big trouble, they were having the most fun they have had in a long time. 

"Klepto.." Naomi said looking down at the book she picked up from the shelf. Crystal chuckled. "Sounds perfect for you," Naomi rolled her eyes with a smile. "Maybe I will try it then." She brought the book to the counter and checked it out.

20 Minutes later..

Naomi twirled around in front of the mirror in the royal blue dress with silver sequins on the front, and a cape in the back that went to the knees. (Use your imagination :D) "Daaaammnn look at me..!" Crystal tapped her foot impatiently outside of the fitting room. "I can't see you, genius." Naomi swung the curtain open, revealing the beautiful blue dress. Crystal gasped. "How much is that?" Needless to say, Naomi did not buy the dress.

Meanwhile with the search party (Annie, Jordan, Declan, and Parker)

"Oh..! They've been using their library cards!" Annie exclaimed looking at her phone. "To the library!" Parker said marching outside.

Moments later at the Seattle Library:

"Yo, librarian, have you seen a two girls, one blonde, the other brunette?" Parker asked casually walking in. The old librarian pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "I believe so. Are they in trouble?" Parker opened the door for his family. "Very. They ran away when they were grounded." The old librarian looked at him and said, "Yes I have, but they left a few hours ago." Jordan lifted his fist in the air. "Curses!" (Are you laughing as hard as we are?) Parker looked at the librarian, "Do you know which way they went?" The old librarian thought for a moment, "I think they went to the right...?" They all flooded outside to the right. (With pitchforks. No JK.) 

Back to the girls...

"I think we should go somewhere to eat," Crystal said rubbing her empty belly. Naomi sighed and headed towards the register with her clothes. "Yeah." Crystal followed her. "I know a good place that's to the left of the library." Naomi smiled and said, "Let's go." They walked to the left where the library was, when they saw their family to the left of them looking at their phones probably trying to call Naomi and Crystal. Crystal tapped Naomi's shoulder quickly to get her attention. Once she had it, Naomi ducked into a crowd of people and pulled Crystal down with her by the collar of her shirt. Once their family passed, Naomi sprinted past the library with Crystal trailing behind her. 

Meanwhile at the house with Savannah and Angel...

"Well it looks like it's just me and you," Savannah said to Angel who gurgled in response. "You know what we should do? WE SHOULD LOOK THROUGH THE FRIDGE FOR CANNNNNDDDDDDYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Savannah yelled out loud in excitement. 

 Meanwhile at The Search Party.....

"Hey guys? I feel like we walked right past them or something," Declan said looking around suspiciously. They all scanned the area, when Annie noticed two girls running the other way, who looked strikingly similar to her daughters. "GUYS!" Annie pointed to the two girls who were quickly getting away. "TO THE BAT-MOBILE!" Jordan said pointing to the sky, although the car was indefinitely not in the sky. They all ran to the car.

Back to the girls......

"Do you think we lost them?" Crystal asked Naomi while they ran down the streets of Seattle. (I tried to push Ann out of her chair for my autocorrect.) Naomi glanced behind them as she continued running, and noticed the car following them. "Oh HELL no!" Naomi and Crystal both ran into the woods and turned into their fox forms. 

Meanwhile at The Search Party.....

"WHERE DID THEY GO?!" Parker questioned in frustration. "Wait! They probably went to the woods!" Declan responded. "Frick!" Jordan said lifting his fist in the air.

Author's note: Yo guys its AnnLynnxX and Star here. Sorry for the long wait, but was it worth it? (AnnLynnxX: "Hell yes")  Me and Ann both were laughing most of the time for writing this.
