"Remembories"
Don't you want to go back to the sand pit?
Kick sand into each other's hair
Search for Aladdin's magical lamp
Treasure every moment and not have care
What about 'round up and down'
To write 'a' for apple
Shout about your first phonics test
Spend Sunday school in the children's chapel
Let's play touches, stuck in the mud or kissing catches
It's no harm to play as roughly with the boys
Get home with filthy muddy clothes
My Punishment - to try wash them and till then, no toys
Call each other the most idiotic names
Scream the most idiotic things when there's a fight
Like 'Barney, Barney, Peanut Butter Sami!'
Wow those fights sure brought us delight
Make us angry by forcing us to nap
Now make it worse by waking us up...
When we are having the most exquisite dreams
Nothing was too bad and nothing was too tough
Well being happy and childish, i just can't get enough
My mission - to try and cling on dearly to my past
Have you forgotten what needs to truly ever last?
You're a child for 12 years and then an adult, what a task!
I think we don't care anymore and grow up way too fast.
