This is what I usually say to the MCs in otome games. I mean, practically we are controlling them so that they'll get their happy ending. I'm not treating them like some kind of easily manipulated girl or something but I just like to call them that. Although I call them my Marionette, I thought of them as a friend rather than a pawn.
