Part 1: Section 1: Chapter 1
Once upon a time there was a being. Not God, although it is a possibility God is what created it. This being was created seconds after the Big Bang, when the universe was still a superhot fog, not permitting light to go through. It was still just a consciousness, for this was the time before any atoms could form into a stable body. For billions of years it drifted throughout the cosmos, witnessing extraordinary phenomena while the universe was still forming.
This continued for Billions of years. It would interfere when something was wrong, being told by a higher power when to do so. It was the liaison between the Creator and the universe of reality, keeping everything in check. The responsibility of the job it was operating finally dawned on it, and eventually it found a way to quit. The being was replaced, leaving It to do whatever it wished to do for the rest of It's never-ending life.
It had the power to bend matter to its will, so in a remote area of a remote galaxy, it created a remote yellow star. It started from the beginning, with 3 rocky planets. Next it moved on to the gas giants, which were the easiest.
It had made its solar system. Now it was time to try creating life. It started on the third planet from the sun, a red and rocky world. It began with an atmosphere, simple oxygen (it's studies toward other intelligent races in the universe showed an oxygen rich atmosphere was ideal for intelligence beginning). Next it moved on to the hydrosphere, turning various areas of land into water. The geosphere came next, creating trees and shrubs that covered the planet near the equator. It moved onto the biosphere, which would be the most difficult.
It designed the circulatory system and digestive track first, which would be the building blocks to all life on this planet. From this it designed thousands of different creatures. For each creature it made cells and spread them all over the planet. These cells would, over billions of years, evolve into the creatures it had spent much time creating.
In one type of cell it put something special. The chromosome needed to think. This chromosome contained the brainpower needed for language. It contained knowledge of simple tools, which would reveal themselves as the consciousness of this species reached a certain level of brainpower.
It watched patiently, the little red planet, as the first species crawled out of the sea. Simple organisms evolved into the creatures it had designed. As it had hoped, the ones with the two legs and two arms created simple tools, tribes, and cities. Technology began to appear. They were intelligent.
But something went wrong. The weapons that his creations made were too powerful. One was set off, annihilating all life on the planet. The water disintegrated into the atmosphere and the plants disappeared. It was just a simple rock floating in space.
It mourned over the loss of its friends for many years. The planet itself was ruined, contaminated. It could not try again.
It would not give up. It made a new planet, the new third from the sun. All the cells and biological data were still stored in its vast memory. All it needed to do was re-plant it. It scattered the cells and created the water again. This planet would be better.
It cleared out the red planet, making sure nothing was left. However, before it left its precious solar system to create another one somewhere else, it sculpted a face on the surface of its red planet, to commemorate its fallen friends. Between the times it was created and the time it would take to return, the face would be worn down so only the sunlight from the right angle could illuminate it correctly.
It left, and knew it wouldn't return for some time. If it got close to this new species, it would only end up disappointed.
