(Hi everyone I'm back with another chapter!! This chapter will be focussing back on the main group and will return to the main story! I hope you enjoy this chapter!)

Hannah's POV:

My body ached. The cut on my leg stung and dried blood still stained my leg a dark red. I sat in the midst of the dark trees, my head resting on Lewis' shoulder. Simon sat opposite us and Duncan tended to the fire and some food. My stomach grumbled, I hadn't eaten in a days and the hunger had began to give me pains. Duncan and Simon had went searching for food earlier and had came back with two rabbits. He pulled the food away from the fire and we all ate. Although it didn't have much flavour, I was grateful for the warm meal. Dark skies loomed above us and the cold pierced my whole body. The man in the hood haunted me and I felt unsafe in the darkness. "Can we go for a walk Lewis? " I ask him. He stretches and stands up. "Sure." He says in a sweet, kind tone. He helps me up, I grab his hand and we walk into the trees.

The tall trees made me feel small. Lewis was by my side, keeping me safe, but I still felt terrified. I started to think that we would never go home. Why did we have to come here. "Are we going to find the portal tomorrow?" I ask Lewis.

"No." He replies instantly.

"Why not?"

"Because we're going to find the person who hurt you."

My heart sinks and I stop walking. Lewis looks at me, worry on his face. "Hannah, what's wrong?"

"Please don't Lewis." I manage to say. "Please don't. I couldn't cope without you! I don't want anything to happen to you!"

"Hannah, please let me do this. He hurt you and I can't leave without hurting him."

I knew I wasn't going to be able to convince him so I agreed "Fine." I took hold of his hand once again and we continued to walk.

After a few minutes of walking we came across the edge of a meadow. We walked round the edge and back into the trees. I peered into the forest and saw something. Something made of stone. I pulled Lewis towards the strange object and the clearing in which they were. The moon shone down and illuminated the world around us. I looked at the stone and soon realised what it was. My eyes widened and my mouth opened in horror and shock. "Oh God." I say.

A statue of Martyn and Kaeyi was in front of us. No, not statues. They seemed more real. Almost alive. I looked away from the living stone and buried myself into Lewis' chest. Tears once more began to well up. Lewis pushed me back a bit and held the sides of my arms. "It's ok." He says and I rest my chin on his shoulder. I stare into the twisting forest. The figure again. I close my eyes and open them again. Still there. The figure's eyes glow purple for a second. My body begins to feel weaker and my head starts to pound. I close my eyes. Screaming fills my ears. My eyes snap open. He's gone. "Can we head back now?" I ask Lewis.

"Yes. But we need to remember where these two are so we can comeback and try to save them."

We emerged from the dark fog of the forest into a warm and welcoming blaze. Simon Lay asleep on the ground snoring loudly and Duncan stared into the flames. Lewis and I sat down and joined him. My eyes felt heavy and I knew I would soon fall asleep. I prepare for the inevitable nightmares which would soon greet me. I placed my head in Lewis' lap and drifted off into the world of dreams and nightmares.

Duncan's POV:

I'm so alone. I have no one who really cares about me. I have no one who loves me. I look at the sleeping Hannah and the loving Lewis and a small bit of jealousy invades my brain. They're so happy together. So loving. I try to push down the jealousy which is beginning to grow. "We found Martyn and Kaeyi." Lewis says quietly.

"What?" I ask confused.

"They were frozen in stone."

"Oh God!" I say shocked.

"I hate this place and I hate the person who did these things!"

Lewis looks down at Hannah and smiles. " I'll take the first watch." He says and carefully stands up while setting Hannah's head down on the soft grass. He walks away from the fire and stands on the dark.

I throw more wood onto the fire and look at the dancing embers. The fire warms my body but my breath still comes out in puffs. I think about my castle in our world and imagine myself back there. In front of a fire with a book and drinking my home-brewed ale. Warm memories welcome me and I begin to think about my life. I remember working at the Jaffa Factory and the time we spent making and sweating over the Jaffa production. I smile and rest my head down on the grass and close my eyes.

I open my eyes and am greeted by a few rays of sunlight. Light has managed to break its way through the thick canopy. I sit up and rub the sleep from my eyes. Simon is still asleep and Hannah and Lewis are talking and laughing. It's good to see there is still a bit of hope and happiness in this difficult situation. I stand up and walk over to Simon. "Wakey wakey Dwarf!" I say while shaking him gently. Simon groans and rubs his eyes. "Are we leaving?" He asks.

"I have no idea." I reply.

"Well why did you wake me up scientist." He says joyfully.

We both laugh and he pulls himself up to his feet. We walk over to Lewis and Hannah and wait for them to finish their conversation. They turn to us and smile. "Are you ready to leave?" Lewis asks. Simon and I nod our heads. "Let's head out then!" He says. Lewis looks at Hannah. "Are you ok with this?" He asks her. Hannah smiles and grabs his hands. "I'm fine." She replies.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

We turn around and walk into the trees.
