Ch 18. Think this through.

Gabriel:

I took Kalem to my moms old house. She was human so she had life in werewolf and human life. The house was 4 hours away from our pack. So I don't think anyone could track us down that easy.

"Kalem we're here." I said waking him up. He looked at me with sleepy eyes

"5 more minutes..." he mumbled, he was so cute I couldn't keep the chuckle in.
I climbed out of the car and went to his side. I unbuckled his belt and took him in bridal style.
When I opened up the doors nostalgic memories came back to me. I was 4 when my parents took me here for the first time. We used to spend here almost all summers.

I brought Kalem to my old room. It was kinda classy white walls, a walk in closet, a two person bed in a middle and a tv in front of it. There was also a office table in the corner.

I put Kalem in bed and threw on a soft blanked. It took only couple minutes for Kalem to drift back to deep sleep. I bet he was really tired after all that happened to him. Hell I bet I would be the same in his place.

I closed the bedrooms and went to the car to get all the things inside.

This house wasn't so big so I used one of the guest rooms as my office. I need to put all the gear and monitors in place so I could properly take care of Kalem.

When I finished I drove the car into the garage. After I went to the kitchen to started making the dinner. All the cooking equipment was left in here, all I needed to do is to wash them through  from all the dust. I turned on the fridge that it would work again, and also water.

I started cleaning the dishes and pans till I herd my phone go off.

*if you think I'll not find you, you really mistaken.*

A unknown number wrote to me. I already know who it is.

"Troy.." I mumbled to myself.

"What's up with Troy?" I herd Kalems voice.

"O-oh it's no big deal forget it" I said putting my phone in my back pocket.

"Okay?.." he said sitting on the tall chair by the kitchens counter. "What we're having for dinner?" He asked looking at me.

"I didn't decide it yet. Do you have any requests?" I said walking to the fridge and looking what do we have of ingredients.

"A juicy stake would be perfect right now." He said saliva almost dripping from his mouth.

"Well you're lucky that I bought this!" I said taking the package of meat from a grocery bag. I could see a sparkle in his eyes. So cute I thought to myself. Well I guess when he's pregnant he gets two times more hungry. I laughed to myself.

"Do you need any help?" He said looking at me slicing the meat.

"No no no you sit and keep me company and I do the food." I looked at him smirking.

"Okay, what should we talk about?"

"Hmmm, are you exited for your babies?" I said looking back at him.

"Hell yeah I'm!" He screamed from happiness.

"You seem really happy after what happened there.. you know.. ah I should've brought this theme." I said face palming for my stupidness.

"No it's okay don't worry." He said with a small smile. "I'm just trying to live my life as happy as I can till the babies births, because my wolf said that I won't be here after-" he placed his hands on his mouth to not say anything else.

"Ouch!" I cut myself accidentally after hearing what he said. "What did you said?!" I asked him, what he was talking about?

"Don't mind it I was just blabbering too much hahahah.." he laughed nervously. "I'm gonna take a shower!" He rushed out of the kitchen.

I put my all focus back on making food. I'll ask him on dinner about what he was talking. Now I want to feed him that he would be all healthy again.
I put the steaks on the pan, and while they were cooking I made some salad. When the mid cooked steaks were done. I put them on nice white plates and took them on the kitchen table, I took the salad bowl and put it on the same table.

"Kalem dinners ready!" I called him.

"Okay!" I herd running steps from the stairs.
"Mmmm! Smells so yummy!"

"Well sit down and let's eat." I said chuckling. He started cutting the meat and when he tasted it he loudly moaned. My little buddy throbbing a little, calm down calm dooown.

"This is so delicious!" He took another bite.

"Well I'm glad you like it." I said smiling, I started eating my food also.
"Sooo.. what was that earlier?"

"This sauce is also very good! What did you put in it?" He said trying to change the subject.

"Kalem." I said in a serious voice. I herd him gulp his food. He looked at his knees.

"Well.. I didn't really wanted to tell anyone but... ah.... My wolf felt that my body was way too weak and not ready to have children, because I found my mate too early as for an omega, and my heat came sooner." He said looking to my eyes. "And I have to choose my life or my children lives, of course I choose their lives not mine." He said putting the napkin on the table.

"But-" I tried to say but he didn't let me finish.

"And I knew that if I would've said this to you, you would've tried to talk me off of this idea but I'm not gonna change my mind. So you shouldn't start it" he said smiling a little.

"I'm going to respect your decision Kalem." I said putting my hand on his hand which was on the table. "But you still have time to think this through."

"Y-Yeah.. but I already decided.."
