Perfectly Young Dumb and Broke (Daniel Seavey)

Chapter 1

{A week before graduation}

Haley's POV

     I looked at Daniel smiling. We are currently at our graduation party. He came over to me and grabbed my hand

"Hey bestfriend." He said flashing that cheesy smile at me.

"Hey Dani." I said laughing

"Everyone gather around to watch at home videos of our two graduates." Momma Seavey said.

Daniel and I sat on the couch as the T.V came on showing us as 5 year olds.

"Ewwwww mommyyyyyy Daniel has cooties." 5 year old me said running across the living room as Daniel chased after me screaming like a hienna.

"I do nottttt" Daniel said crying and throwing a ball at me knocking me down.

The next video was 8th grade graduation. He was holding my hand because I had gotten scared. I refused to move from my spot until Daniel got there.

The next video was Junior prom. I was walking down the stairs.

"OMG! My bestfriend and date is absolutely gorgeous." He said putting his hand over his mouth tearing up. I ran the rest of the way down the stairs into his arms as he kissed my forehead.

Then, they showed my favorite video of when we were ten.

"MOMMY IM INLOVE WITH DANIEL JAMES SEAVEY." I screamed as my 10 year old self as Daniel screamed to his mom

"I LOVE HALEY BROOK MOSS AND IM GONNA MARRY HER."  At this point it had turned into a picture slide show. Pictures of us from being babies to last month when I met his band.

By the end of the slide show both Daniel and I were crying. In a week we would be going our separate ways. He would be going to L.A to live his dreams as I would start college at Florida state. Every since we were little nothing could pull us apart.

Our moms were bawling and everyone else was on the verge of tears. I stood up walking outside and sitting against a tree looking up at the stars. I heard the door open as Daniel walked out. I looked up at him as he sat down pulling me into his lap.

"I won't leave your side any this week. I'm staying at your house day and night." He said as he started to play with my hair. I laid my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arms around his torso. He placed his head on mine. This is what I love about Daniel he is so sweet and understanding. I felt a tear hit my shoulder. I looked up to see a red puffy eyed Daniel I kissed his cheek holding his hand in mine.  By this time everyone had left ,but our parents.

"Lets go watch movies and cry together." I said getting up from his lap helping him up. We walked back into my house our moms hugging us.

"We are going to go watch some movies and stuff." I said as I wiped a tear from Daniels face.

We walked up the stairs and I grabbed legging and a oversized t-shirt. I walked out and Daniel was in basketball shorts laying on my bed cuddling one of my stuffed animals as I looked at his tear stained cheeks. I turned on a Netflix show and turned off the lights laying down beside Daniel. He wrapped his arms around my waist laying his head on my stomach. He turned his attention to the Netflix show then he looked up at me. Those ocean eyes make me melt. He unwrapped his arms from around me and scooted himself up in the be putting his hand on either side of my face and slowly kissed me. I smiled kissing him back as we pulled away he was smiling.

"I never wanna leave" he said
