Leah, Norman and Duncan all sat towards a fire they had made previously. They took anxious glances at each other, and everyone was hungry regardless. There were no animals in that forest to be found other than birds, and Leah refused to eat a bird due to them being some of her favorite animals.

Norman's expression was grim and it was quite obvious that he felt bored. He got tired of staring at Duncan, and Leah was quiet for that day.

Deep down, Leah thought she was bad at conversations and any form of social interaction other than affection. She would just sigh and look up at the stars without any emotion. It was visible that something was on her mind, but she just wouldn't express it at all.

Norman coughed. It was time to strike some conversation.

"So, Leah..." he began. "Why don't I ask you some more questions? I mean, we gotta learn more stuff about each other eventually."

"Sure, go for it..." Leah murmured, adjusting her position. She was originally slumped over and staring into oblivion, unable to think of anything to say. Once someone started to talk to her, she'd shoot up like a firecracker.

"Well... Have you ever fell in love? ...Well, besides this Skywalker kid, that is."

Leah thought for a moment and glanced away for a split second. Her love life was awfully small, and she didn't know how to explain her last 'relationship'. "Yeah, I have..."

"Well, tell me about it," Norman suggested, letting off a smooth chuckle. He took an uneasy glance at Duncan, who was nearly asleep while carving random circles into a plank of rough-looking wood.

"Well, um..." she began. "There was this guy that had to take care of me after school while my father was away. My dad was always at work and plotting around with the government, and he never got home until I was asleep. He also left before I could wake up every morning, and he played the 'cool dad' card and hired a guy to take care of me after school and whatnot. I was a really lonely person as a child, and I hardly had any friends until I got to middle school and high school. Dad sent me to an academy that was all 'special' and stuff, and he somehow made up the idea that he really couldn't be around once I started a new school.

So, here I was with this guy... He was probably about four years older than me. He was a brunette with these gorgeous icy-blue eyes, and a really provocative stare. He always wore his hair in a bowl-cut looking style, and he wore these really... Vibrant clothes. He was quite the character, and we both had a lot in common for sure. He really liked astronomy and I remember that he wanted to grow up to be an engineer or an astronaut or something... Something along those lines. We both got around really well, and... He made me feel like I was actually existent. He made me feel real and that I was alive."

"Well... How'd that go? What happened to him?" Norman asked, sitting up in an interested pose.

"Honestly, I'm not sure if we were ever 'boyfriend-girlfriend', but we were really close. We both had feelings for each other, and we both made that obvious. Then again, this guy was awfully flirty and would do anything to get a girl for the most part, but... There was this sparkle in his eyes that I'd notice every time we were around each other. It was so unusual, but I knew what it meant. He loved me, and... I loved him too.

I remember after around the time I turned seventeen, he just kinda... Disappeared. I remembered him saying that he needed to go back home to California to study and make his dreams come true. He wanted to go to space so bad, and I really wanted to go with him, but father wanted me to continue on with school so I could graduate. He would never accept the fact that his daughter could turn into a failure."
