I was not just mournful, I was furious. I could not face the fact that my friend has just been murdered. I had to do something about it. A week later, I went to her funeral. Devastating. I can still remember her hand screeching down that window. Ugh, an aching sound it was. I thought about telling the police, which were still at the scene of the crime, but I knew it was a bad idea. I got together with Scout, May and Sasha. We discussed about how we felt about Nicolette's death. When we finished, May came up with a devious, yet clever, plan. "Revenge", May ranted. "I agree, but how?", I asked. As we made up our minds about what we should do, I thought about how much fun it could be. "Thus shall kill our enemies", Sasha mocked Beckum. We all laughed. What a rebellious girl she is. We came up with the best strategy, no battle plan. We made posters and gathered weapons. Every now and then I heard Sasha and May whisper, "thus shall kill our enemies." Peculiar. When we finished getting ready, all I could make out was one sentence. "Let's do this", is what I had said.
