Chapter 35 - Moving in

"we are finally moving in," I say excitedly.
"It's about time," Elijah says sweeping me off my feet. I laugh and kiss him. We had just finished packing up the last of the boxes, from my house.
"I can't believe Tommy's reaction when I showed him the new base." I laugh
"He was so excited when you told him. his jaw literally hit the floor when he saw it" Elijah also laughs. I told Tommy about the floor under the basement in my building. He was so excited that he was already packed up to move in the next day. He now lives in the base and he is loving life. I have also supplied him with a budget to go towards, gadgets, weapons and anything else for my nightlife. Elijah also comes out with me at night, we are The Raven and The Cobra. I only started going back out a week ago, when all I had left were a couple of cuts, scars and bruises. Elijah refused to let me leave until then. I have visited Sam and Anna once. Changed Sam's bandaged and took most of his stitches out. They had both confessed their love for each other and couldn't get enough of one another.
"come on let's go," I say excitedly dragging Elijah out to his car. We drive to our new home, I couldn't wait to start settling in. As soon as we got to our new house, we started to take boxes in.
"we're done," Elijah says grabbing my hips and pulling me against his chest. I turn around to face him a huge smile on my face.
"we have a home Elijah" I smile wrapping my arms around his neck.
"now let's christen it" He smirks kissing me.
"Where?" I ask raising my eyebrow as Elijah kisses down my neck.
"Right here," he says smirking and we move to lie down.

"Yes AJ?" I answer my ringing phone. Me and Elijah had just jumped out of the shower
"Get here now" She shouts at me
"what's wrong?" I ask worriedly.
"Just hurry," she says and she hangs up. She was definitely back to her normal self.
"AJ needs me," I say throwing on one of Elijah's jumpers and a pair of my leggings.
"Go I'll meet you there later," Elijah says and I look at him squinting my eyes trying to figure out why he didn't want to come with me.
"okay?" I say and he smirks and kisses me on the lips. I leave quickly heading for our secret hideout.
"AJ what's wrong?" I ask her.
"It's Sam," She says pointing over to the closed door. I knock but there was no reply. Sam had pushed something up against it so I couldn't open it.
"Sam it's Jade open the door," I say knocking again
"go away. both of you just get out" He shouts.
"Anna, what happened?" I ask her
"One minute we are talking, next minute he's grabbing his head and running into that room.
"Sam open the door now!" I scream I wasn't messing about
"No just leave," he says.
"Sam I swear to god I'm going to kick your fucking ass. Open this damn door now or I open it for you" I shout. There was a short pause before I heard something getting dragged on the floor. I open the door and go into the room closing the door behind me. Sam was in the corner of the room clutching his head.
"what happened?" I say going over and looking into his eyes
"it's buzzing loud. probably an explosive" he says
"you idiot" I say hitting him on the shoulder
"I didn't know it was in there until 5 minutes ago," He says
"it should have blown then. Sam, it's a fucking tracker" I say hitting him again
"they can't track us when we're down here" Sam says
"I know that. Still, we need to shut it down or take it out" I say
"then do it, this buzzing sound is killing me," He says
"why did you shut yourself in this room. AJ is going to kill you for making her worry" I tell him
"It could have been an explosive." He says and I roll my eyes
"you're way too paranoid. it would have only killed you." I say. We had a small x-ray kit down here and a defibrillator. I scan his head and find the little device.
"you can bring me back right," he says as I charge up the defibrillator. the defibrillator would kill the tracker.
"of course I can," I say then I hit him with the paddles and stop his heart. I quickly start CPR and bring him back.
"thanks," he says holding his chest
"is it still buzzing?" I ask
"no but my chest hurts," he says. I smirk and pat him on the shoulder. Anna runs into the room and sits by Sam.
"Stay?" Sam asks me
"sure" I smile and sit down opposite them
"have you told Elijah?" Anna asks
"no," I say simply
"Jade" she scowls at me
"what? I'm not ready. I don't want to be reliving that not yet anyway" I say
"but you are reliving it. you won't stop until Lewis stops coming after you. Jade, Nick is dead, I am suspected dead and AJ is a ghost. You're the only thing left, the only problem for them to fix" Sam says
"don't you think I know that. Lewis is waiting for the right moment to attack" I say
"He knows he can't get to you easily. He already went after Nick. He is trying to find your weaknesses" Anna says
"you guys are my weaknesses and as far as he knows, you're both dead."
"what about Elijah?" Sam says
"Yes, he is also a weakness." I sigh
"Jade you can't," Anna says
"you don't know what I'm thinking," I say
"we both do," Sam says
"please tell me then," I say
"you're going to break his heart which will break yours. you are going to cause an argument and end it with him" Anna says and I look down at the floor "see" she says
"it's the only way for him to be safe," I say quietly.
"tell him the truth," Sam says he sounded angry at me
"No. I can't" I grumble
"you're the only one who can tell the truth. You speak for us" Anna says
"you two didn't go through what I went through, I'm not ready" I say
"we didn't go through it because you made it so we didn't have to" Sam says
"you have always protected us, Jade. we trust each other so please listen to us and just tell him" Anna says
"I'm sorry but I can't I just can't. I have to go" I say standing up to leave. Sam and Anna also stand.
"Think about it," Sam says hugging me
"I already have," I say and he sighs. I hug Anna and then I leave.
