Movie Night

8:30 PM, Friday
The Beau House

A black haired brown eyed male teenager was putting food on a table in his living room when a blue and black haired, blue eyed woman walked into the room. This two people were Robert Umbra and his mother Ysa Beau. Robert was half human half demon while Ysa was full demon. The reason they have differen last names is because Robert was adopted by Ysa and her wife, Ashlie Beau neé Cinco, a full angel, when he was 7 years old.

"Oh hey mom, whatcha need?" Asked Robert.

"I just want to let you know, that your mom and I will be  out for the night, so you and your half angel girlfriend won't be bugged tonight." Said a smirking Ysa, as Robert blushed. Ysa was surprised that her son, a half demon, has a crush on a half angel as usually, the two races were enemies and can't stand being in a room with each other.

" Mom, Cooki ain't my girlfriend, yet" Robert said, whispering the last part. Ysa, hearing that part, just smiled at her son. She hugged him, and walked out to her car, where  Ashlie was waiting for her. Robert just continue on getting ready for the movie night/date.

30 mins later

Robert walked downstairs, drying his hair off, in dark grey sweatpants and a short sleeve black shirt. He got to his living room when he heard knocking on the front  door. He opened the front door to see a small brunette, dark-brown eyed female standing there. This was Jikan Jamerson, or Cooki to her friends. She had with her a bag filled with items to stay the night.  When Robert saw this, he frowned.

"Another fight?" asked Robert. Cooki just nodded, which had Robert pulling her into a hug, causing Cooki to blush, even though Robert has done this plenty of times before. 

The two of them went into the living room to watch the movie Robert  picked out, Grease.

When an romantic part came on, Cooki's eyes had tears in them. Robert paused the movie when he saw the tears.

"Hey, Cooki, everything alright? We can watch a different movie." Said a worried Robert. 

Cooki smiled at his kindness and shook her head, saying, "No, I remember what my stepmother said to me."

Robert narrowed his eyes at the mention of Cooki's stepmother. He knows she's not the nicest person ever.

" What did she say to you?" Asked Robert.

"She said that I don't deserve to love or to be loved at all." Cooki explained, turning away from Robert. She wasn't expecting for Robert to grab her chin lightly and turn her head towards him. She was equally surprised to see tears in his eyes.

"That's full of bullshit. You're the nicest person I have ever met. You, out of everyone on this planet, deserves love." He said, pulling her closer, until they were touching foreheads. 

"Why? Why are you so kind to me?" Asked Cooki.

"Because I love you." Robert suprised her further by kissing her. Cooki's eyes were wide open while Robert's were closed. After he pulled away, he saw tears of joy going Cooki's cheeks.

"I.. don't know how to love, Robert." Confessed Cooki. Robert just smiled and cupped her cheek and kissed her again.

"Then I will help you learn." Said Robert. They finished Grease and watched other movies until they fell asleep, with Cooki's head on Robert's chest and Robert holding her close to him.

When Ysa and Ashlie got home, they saw this and smile. Ashlie covered them with a blanket.
