Diana's POV –
"Oh my gosh," I turn to Savannah, "This is it."
Savannah smiles at me then hugs me. I see the tears well up in her eyes, but she quickly wipes them away so she doesn't ruin her makeup.
"I can't believe I'm actually standing here next to you, in this cap and gown." I smile widely.
Savannah puts her hand on my shoulder, "Diana, I'm proud you straightened yourself out. I'm glad you're standing here with me, waiting to graduate!"
I hug her once more then go to my spot in line. I heard the music start playing and I became really nervous. I was finally graduating from high school.
After this, Savannah and I are going to take a year off of school and go to live in San Diego together. After a year would pass up, Savannah is going off to college. I was debating between doing online classes or actually going to college. I wanted to stay at our studio apartment we'd be staying in instead of going off to an actual college. Being if I stayed at the house, Vic could come visit whenever he wanted.
Vic is still in California, finishing up his finals and stuff for the year. Being so, he couldn't make it to the graduation today. I'm kind of disappointed he couldn't make it, but school is more important than me at the moment.
I look ahead of me and see people walking out of the hallway. This is it. Next up, they call my name and I walk to my seat. The ceremony would start and go on forever, they'd give us our diploma, and then we're completely done with high school.
"Diana Gutierrez." I hear my name being called and I slowly start walking.

Vic's POV –
"I'll be there in a few minutes. Okay, bye." I hangup the phone with Diana's mom, Margaret. Finals had actually finished last week, so I wanted to surprise Diana at her graduation today.
I park my car into the high school parking lot. I rush inside, because I've already missed half of the ceremony. My flight here got delayed, which is my reason for being late.
I go inside and find where Diana's parents are sitting. I try to sneak in, that way Diana wouldn't spot me at all. I find her parents and sit down with them.
"Sorry I'm late. Flight got delayed." I apologize.
"No problems at all. They're just about to watch the slideshow then they're going to give out the diplomas." Diana's mom informs me.
Soon enough, they dim the lights in the gym to play the slideshow. Picture after picture goes by. Moments later, Diana comes up. A baby picture of her and one of her senior pictures she took. She looked really adorable in her baby picture, but she looked absolutely gorgeous in her senior picture.
I look to the stands where all the graduates were sitting. I find Diana. I was so proud to see her in her cap and gown. And, she looked gorgeous just sitting there.
Over the past two years of being together, she's changed up a bit. Her braces were gone, she started straightening her hair, her face lightly cleared up, she got a bit more tan, and she's wearing makeup. When I first got with her she had braces, she always kept her hair curly, her face had a bit of acne, she was pale as ever, and she wore no makeup. I love the way Diana looks now, but I loved the way she looked before too.
She'll always be my gorgeous Diana. As long as her personality doesn't change, I'll love this girl for as long as I live.
