in the center of a classroom, 4th row 3rd seat, sits a girl who laughs along on the days she is most confident. She would laugh and defend as if she knew she was meant to. Although, on other days she sat and wrote. Instead of math notes, she would write love letter or journals or poems to distract her from facing the harsh realities this world has been throwing at her. She raises a pale and stiff hand and asks the teacher to go to the restroom.

in the restroom, she faces a decision. "do it again," she tells herself, "and you may get caught. you wouldnt want to hurt him."

she returns in 10 minutes.

she feels her heart drop, she knows what she has done.
