We sat in a board meeting to talk about usual stuff. This time Stephanie was present for my NXT meeting.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking at her. There was something going on and I. wasn't in the loop.
"Just came to support my man. I'm usually busy when these meetings take place." She said, smirking at me. This better not have anything to do with Binks or I will flip this damn table over.
Stephanie stood. "I would like to vote to fire Bianca BelAir. She just doesn't have the potential we're looking for." Stephanie spoke up. "There are other amazing minorities that could easily take her place like Mia Yim or even Kharma."
The board President looked at me and said "Hunter, do you agree with these statements?"
"Bianca is a mentee of mine and I find her to be extremely hardworking and she has potential to be amazing." I spoke up, she isn't going to ruin my baby's career.
"There was a request made that she would win the vacant NXT title. Are you showing favoritism?" The president asked.
"No, I have a vision for her and giving her the belt would be a great opportunity for her. I see her being one of the best, we've seen in a long time." I admitted.
"But, she's very unprofessional and I think she should be released." Stephanie chimed in.
The board members chattered among themselves and I knew why Stephanie was doing this. "Nothing about her is unprofessional. It appears Stephanie is bringing her personal feelings to the matter. Here at NXT, we don't fire and suspend people over personal feelings. My team works too hard to be played like that. Bianca isn't going anywhere. I have the final say." I said, looking at Stephanie, whose face is beat red.
I looked at William Regal and I felt like he's in on it. I need to check him about what information he's been sharing with Paige and my wife.
"We're going to have to throw out your case, Mrs. McMahon. It's too personal and it could create a law suit." The board President said.
Stephanie got up and left the room. I wasn't going to follow her. She had no business coming to my damn meeting causing chaos.
"But we have all agreed that Ember Moon will win the title. Bianca isn't ready yet." The President stated.
After the meeting I saw Bianca in the hallway waiting for me. She has a damn glow around her and it draws me in every time. "Paul.. is everything okay? I ran into Stephanie and she gave me a dirty look."
I looked around making sure no one could hear us. " Listen.. it's been a change of plans. Kairi is going over in the Takeover match. Boards decision."
"Interesting... So you give me a push and take it back? Then you tell me to wait five months for you."
"I know.. but this is complicated. Today Steph came in the meeting demanding you get fired, but the board wouldn't do it. I'm not letting you get fired. You don't deserve that."
"So, What do I deserve huh? Cause all of this is a waste of time." Bianca spat.
"Babe.. patience love. Trust me. I got you." I kissed her and that's when I was interrupted by Regal.
"Hunter I need to talk to you now. It's important." He said.
"I'll text you Binks." I said, kissing her cheek and walking with Regal. When we got to his office.
"So, your wife announces that she's pregnant and you're out here kissing Bianca in public. Are you crazy?"
"Look, you need to mind your business. You're running your mouth to Paige again. Newsflash I don't want her. You know that I care about Bianca. Why are you acting like that? You want her?"
"No, but you're making a mistake. Paige wants you back and you're ignoring her. She's never fully recovered since you made her get an abortion."
"I didn't force her to do anything. That was solely her choice. After that I wasn't interested anymore. Now, for the first time since Chy. I'm in love again. I didn't think it was possible. Now, if you tell anyone else my fucking business. I'm going to have you fired."
"So, you're choosing Bianca over me? Did you realize that you're married to Steph? You and Bianca don't get a happy ending and this will not end well."
"You don't know what's going to happen. She's the love of my life and I will fight for her." I said.
"That girl is using you. She doesn't care about you. That's why she's messing with other dudes behind your back. Don't trust her."
Where was he getting this from? It sounded like a bunch of lies to me. "Who?"
"Some of the UK guys. Mark Andrews is one."
"Stop lying on Bianca." I stormed out of his office. That's when I saw Mark hugging Bianca. I didn't even know they knew each other. They hugged for a moment and now I felt like it was true. She was fucking Mark behind my back.
I walked the opposite direction. Was Binky playing me all along?
