"Chachi...please.."Manik joined his hand in front of her."Please bataiye mujhe Nandini kaha hai.."Manik pleaded "Please Chachi please"

"Manik.."Chachi held his hand."Woh jaha bhi hai thik hai..issey zyada hum tumhe kuch bhi nahi bata paenge"

"Par kyu Chachi.."Manik questioned."Aisi kaun si wajah hai ki aap mujhe kuch bhi nahi bata rahi.."though his voice was low but Shanno could hear the urgency in his voice.

"Nandini.."Shanno finally answered."She had asked us not to tell anyone anything.."

"In fact she made us promise." Venkatesh added. "And we can't break her promise beta.."

"We are sorry Manik but we can't do anything to help you.."Shanno caressed his hairs. "We are helpless.."

"Pata nahi aisa kya ho gaya ki ekdum achanak se Nandu ne yaha se jane ka mann bana liya.."Venkatesh shook his head.

"Bilkul.."Shanno agreed. "Arey woh toh kitni khush thi..uske chahre se kitni khushi jhalak rahi thi..Musicana ko lekar woh kitni excited thi. But usi raat ek dum se woh ghar aai aur yaha se jane ka faisla kar liya..humne ussey kitna samjhane ki..rokne ki koshish ki..par usne hamari ek nai suni. Issey pahle hum kuch kar pate woh yaha se chali gai.."

"Rishab uske bagair nai rah sakta tha..isiliye woh bhi uske sath chala gaya.."Venkatesh looked at Manik."beta tumhe kuch pata hai kya.."

Even Shanno joined."Haan Manik..tum toh waha the na...kuch hua kya tha kya.."

Manik closed his eyes and the very next moment that night flashed in front of him.

"Finally..I get to do this.."he said while sticking the Fab5 tag on her face.

"Mission Nandini Murthy"---ACCOMPLISHED.

"You are so evil Manik Malhotra.."

"Even if you win na..deep down in your heart tumhe pata hoga ki tumne sick games khele hai mere sath.."

"You will be an eternal looser"

"I wish you all the luck Manik Malhotra.."

"Haan..Manik is right.."

"Woh aur Main..hum nahi they.."

"Tumne jo bola..Maine woh sab kiya.."

"I kept you in my prayers.."

"I trusted you.."

"But tumne....you ruined everything.."

"I have clean your face...but I don't know how to clean your twisted mind.."

A lone tear escaped Manik's eyes as he remembered that fateful night which teared both of them apart.

Wiping it away he looked at Shanno and Venkatesh who was looking at him. That's when he realised that they were waiting for an answer. "Nahi Chacha-Chachi mujhe nahi pata..mujhe kuch bhi nahi pata.."Manik answered looking away.

Before they could say anything Manik walked away.

He got into his car and drove away.

As soon as he left Shanno looked at Venkatesh and said "Yeh hamne thik nahi kiya. Hamey ussey sab bata dena chahiye tha..kya pata woh Nandu ko wapas le aata..mai kah rahi hu..hamne sahi nahi kiya.."

"Pata nahi kya sahi hai aur kya galat.."Venkatesh covered the distance between them. Placing a hand on the shoulders he looked at her and said "..par Nandu yahi chahti hai...and we have to respect our daughter's decision."

"Aapko nahi lagta ki Nandini aur Manik ke beech me zarur koi baat hui hai jiski wajah se Nandu yaha se chali gai. Usne hamse uski location batane ka promise isiliye liya tha kyunki woh janti thi ki Manik uske bare me zarur puchne aaega.."Shanno concluded. "I still think we should tell Manik everything. Who knows maybe Manik might end up bringing our Nandini back.."

"Even I agree with you 100%..but the thing is that Nandini is way too precious for us. For the first time she has asked anything from us..we can't deny her that..we can't betray her..we have promised her and we will stick to it. If Aiyappa wants their issues to get resolved then things will automatically falls into place..so leave everything on time..as there is no bigger healer than time.."Venkatesh concluded.

Shanno nodded."You are right.."She sighed. "But I just hope that one day they both will get over their differences so that things could go back normal between them.."

"I hope so too Shanno ji.."Venkatesh side hugged her and picking up a photo frame that had Nandini and Rishab's photo in it
from  the table he caressed it while looking at it with eyes full of warmth and adulation. "I fervently hope so.."

This story will have only 10-12 more updates as it's a short story...so even this one will be stalk up soon.

I will update Chapter 15 of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan..  in couple of days..as I am busy with some family functions.
