A/N I own none of the SAO characters. The only character (s) I own as of right now is Mina. The picture above is Mina's new look.

Mina POV

I enter the beautiful town of Beginnings. Smelling the fresh air, I sigh with content. My wrist, not hurting since you can't feel pain in the game. I smile. My home I thought.

I look at my level bar and notice its at 42. I️ cleared 49 floors as a beta tester. I look in my inventory and notice most of the stuff I gained has disappeared except my sword and a few clothing items. My sword is called Murasame (from the anime Akame ga Kill!). It is a very dangerous sword, a poisonous one at that. One prick of the skin on a human and their HP instantly goes down and they die. For monsters and bosses though, it knocks them down 20 each hit.

(Totally ignore the female and focus on the sword :P)

I check if my Armor is still equipped and it is. I earned it by defeating a boss on floor 43 all by myself. It was a dragon and now I earned the nickname Dragon slayer. Literally it's in my skills bar for some odd reason. Its made of dragon scales, unicorn fur, and heavy duty lava metal which comes from the lava dragon Luc.

(This is her Armor. The picture at the top of the chapter is her everyday outfit type of thing. )

I look around and see many new players. It's quite obvious that they are new due to how they are acting. They all look like lost puppies and I just giggle. Some stare at me, looking me up and down in jealousy. None of the new players have earned Armour and are wearing low quality clothing that cannot protect them for long. I start walking through the crowd. People let me through, intimidated. I look around, seeing if I can find any other beta players.

All I find is young boy around my age, which is 15, running through the alley way, heading to Horunka Village. He is he obviously a beta played due to the fact the he knows what he is doing straight away. Yet, he lacks beta player looks. Which is smart. I wouldn't want anyone finding out that I am and was a beta player.

I quickly open my menu, look through my inventory and find my casual clothes, the mother dragon suit (at the top). It isn't as revealing nor are is it as protective but it will do.

I head out of the Town of Beginnings center and start leveling up myself. I kill some easy level 2 boars. Poking them with my sword they instantly fall over, pix-elating into nothing. I earn some col and head to the town merchant, purchasing transport crystals and health potions.

I head back to the town square only to be shocked by a loud alarm. Everyone stands still, wondering what is happening. I look up instantly and see a flashing red warning sign. Soon, blood seeps through the sign and forms a man. The game master. An evil man at that.

His speech is not pleasant. He explains to us how we are all living in the game now. That if we die in here we die in real life. How he wanted people to live in a world he created and that the only way to leave is to hit floor 100 and kill the boss. He gives us a new item in our inventory and leaves.

I wait, watching people open it, cautious of what it could be. Out appears a mirror. Everyone starts looking into the mirrors and instantly their image changes. Most likely into themselves in real life. Some females turn into males, males turn into females, children turn into old men, skinny to fat, short to tall, they all change. I decide not to open the mirror. I happen to still look like myself in real life, but I don't want it to do something to me, like take away my level. I trash the mirror.

I start thinking about what has happened. We are all stuck in this game. A virtual world filled with monsters, people, everything that a real world has. But, you get to remake your image. This doesn't seem so bad. I smile thinking about how I am finally away from my father, my bullies, my school, and my old life. Looking up, I see the sadden faces on the players of SAO. They are all slowly losing hope. And it has only just begun.

A/N This is the second chapter. If I missed anything please tell me. I do go over my chapters throughout though.
