Tumor with the baby pt 2

"A husband may not be able to stop you from operating on his wife, but he can stop you from operating on his child." Whale explained. I slightly smirk to myself. Dr. Anna looked shocked and a little angry. "This, this can't be true. Its her body. She should be able to do what she wants." She protests in the nicest way possible.

"But since he's blood related to the baby, even if its unborn, you are operating on it and that can stop under the name of the biological parents." Whale said.

"You agreed with me yesterday. What happened today?" I ask. She hesitates. "I'm just doing my job. I gave her options and she chose one and its my duty to do what she asks and keep her alive." She says. "I'm not saying don't do anything. I'm just saying this ain't the right choice for her." I say.

She sighs. "I understand. You may meet with her to discuss your alternative." She says walking out.

I walk too. Going straight to Emma's room. I walk in to see her taking deep breaths trying to calm herself. Her face was tear stained and red. She had purple bags under her eyes. She probably didnt get any sleep last night. I walk in. She looks up at me and gives me a slightly disgusted face.

Dr. Whale comes in behind me. "What is he doing here?" She said harshly. "He's here to discuss an alternative for you." He says walking over the monitor. "What do you mean?" She asks.

Whale looks at me and takes a deep breath. "We are stopping the surgery." He quickly says. She looked shocked just like Dr. Anna. "What!? why!?" She raises her voice. "Because I said so." I butt in. She glares daggers at me. "He is the father of your child and with that title, he can stop the surgery since its on the his child." He explians again. I look at her and smirk. She was speechless for a moment.

"You, you can't do this." She says, her voice breaking. Whale leaves the room. I walk over to her. "I'm just doing what's best for you." I say calmly. "I gave you a title, what you wanted. what I wanted! And you use it against me!" She yells.

I heard her monitor beeping faster. I knew what that meant. "Emma. Please let's just talk about this." I say. "We already have!" She said.

"Well, I can hold the block for as long as I want to. Which will mean forever if you won't come to your senses!" Y now yell. She looms at me scared. I get angry at myself for yelling at her. I should've had done that. I walk to a corner and run my hand through my hair. I heard sobbing behind me. I knew I messed up. "Look I'm sorry love for snapping at you." I say walking I've to her.

Her head was in her hands and her knees were to her chest. "Fine. I'll do it." She says. "What?" I say with a little happiness. "I said I'll do it!" She says with anger. "Actually, that might not be needed." Dr. Anna says from the doorway. I look at her confused. "I got a hold of a very good surgeon named Dr. Sean Murphy that had actually done one of these before. He says the would come down here and do it." She said with a smile on her face.

"When?" I ask. "in a day." She replied. I nod. "Thank you." Emma says. She nods and walks out. Emma had her lips curled into a smile she was trying to hide. I still couldn't take the risk. "Emma, what if something bad happened in there?" I argue. "Killian stop being overprotective and let me do what I want. This surgeon has done it before. He knows what to do!" She says.

I gulp and sigh. I felt defeated once again. "Fine. I'll let you do this. But I am giving them the permission to terminate everything is something goes wrong. I at least want you alive." I say. She smiled. Snow and charming walked in. "Wait, they haven't done the surgery yet?" Snow asked confused. Emma and I both shake our head no. "They found a surgeon that can do it, lowering the risk." I say.

She smiled. "That's amazing!" She exclaimed. Charming had a big side smile on his face. I look at ma who had a sad smile on her face. "Well. We just wanted to see if we could see you before the surgery." Snow says and awkwardly walks out grabbing Dave's hand. I walk over to Emma and grab her hand. "Are you OK love?" I ask. She takes in a shaky breath. "It just really hurts." she says not even looking a me.

"Can you put up with it for one more day? Just one more." I say tracing my hook down her cheek. She nods.

Time skip until the next day! Emma's pov

After I ate breakfast Dr. Anna and another man came in. "Mrs. Jones, meet Dr. Murphy." She says. Murphy shook my hand. "Now I have done this before so I know what to do and look out for." he said reassuringly. I smile. "The surgery will last about 3 hours. Would you like to let Killian know?" Anna asks. I nod. "OK. Well, the nurses will come in with the anesthetic." She says walking out. I grab my phone and text him. I'm going under surgery for about 3 hours. Please don't worry. And, can you tell my parents for me? Thank you. And I love you. And send.

The nurses had already set everything up. The put the oxygen mask on me and they told me that they were going to move me now. I nod. The pushed some buttons and stuff. I couldnt really tell because I was already feeling light headed. They pushed my bed out where lits of people were in the hallway. We heading to a pair of big doors. Then, I fell asleep.

After the surgery Killian's POV

It had been the 3 hours and I was heading to the hospital. I finally went into the building and straight to Emma's room. I find her sleeping peacefully. I smiled to myself a walk in. She starts to stir. I sit down in the chair. "Killian?" She says weakly. I nod. "Aye love. Its me." I whisper. She smiles weakly. She tries to sit up but comes back to laying down with a pained face.

"Love don't hurt yourself." I say. "It hurts. Badly." She complains. "I know love. Just rest and take it easy." I respond. Just then Dr. Anna comes in. "I have really great news. You and your child are going live!" She says with a big smile. I smile to a turn to Emma. She was smiling the best she can. "And. You will be here for a couple of days to make sure everything is 1000% OK." She says with a nod and walks out.

"Love did ya hear that? We are going to have a child." I say kind of excitedly. She nods.

"We are going to be parents."
