Prologue

This is my first official book on Wattpad. I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't planning on writing a book anytime soon but since I have this friend (not gonna name names... Jaudrey4Life) that's buggy but I love her.  I hope you guys enjoy the book because y not?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
By the way, if some parts seem familiar it's because me and Riley are doing a collaboration story so if our characters, Julia or Riley, are involved in any convo, then it's gonna be in both our books if that makes sense. Okok I'll shut up now. ENJOY!!

Julia's P.O.V.
Beep...beee-

My eyes snapped open in annoyance, groaning as I take in my surroundings. Any other day I would've been sleeping till GOD knows what time. But it's graduation and I'd go to any ceremony that celebrates the end of high school.

I dragged my half dead body across my room and got ready: little to no makeup, a classy but fun outfit. I walked downstairs to witness my mother sprawled over the couch eating... what used to be chicken. I playfully pounced on her,

"Hi mum! I'm graduating today!" I exclaimed as obnoxious as possible.
"Yeah whatever, you bum. I can't go cause Auntie's sick, remember?"
"Yup, I know." I was already halfway out the door. "By the way, I took a fifty!"

I walked calmly to school. Just then I got a text from Cassidy.

Her: Hey, Jules!

Juju: Hey, Cassidy. What's up?

Her: Jules, we're friends! How many times do I have to tell you to call me Cass. JEEZ! Anyhoooo, I'm with George and them right now and GOSH he's sooo cute. He's TOTALLY about to ask me out! I can feel it.
"Friends..." Ah, the irony.

Juju: Okok, good luck with him then Cassidy.

Her: CASS!!

I rolled my eyes. Dramatically, might I add. The school came into my peripheral vision as I turned the corner. I saw the boys and I smiled brightly. I sped up my walk and reached them in no time.

"Hey, dorks."
"Juju! We missed you!" Reece's smile is the most adorable thing, I swear.
"We saw each other literally a day ago." Second eye roll of the day ladies and gents.
"A day too long," Blake's handsome self decided to chime in. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks and I swear if I was a couple shades lighter I would be SO red.
"Alright, playboy. I'm gonna go see if I can find Riley. Meet you around 8."
"Bye, ugly!" Is that another eye roll? I think so...
"You shouldn't be talking, Georgie." OK. That was a straight lie because all three of these boys are adorable.

It's probably 7 now and I see my BEST FRIEND come my way! Known this cutie since 5th grade and I don't regret a second of it.

"Hey Riley! Ready to get out of this hell hole?" My playful level rising to it's max.

"HELL YEAH!"

We hug and travel around the school for a bit. Curiosity struck me...

"Is Cassidy still coming?"

"No," blunt much?

"Not surprised," I'm really not. This has happened almost every time we want to go out.

"She's hanging out with George after graduation." My ears love playing jokes on me but this is not one of those times.

"Seriously?! We've been with her ever since her mother died! And now she's gonna ditch us on THE LAST DAY we see her for the guys?!"

I pace down the steps. "Seems like it." I hear her sigh behind me. "But hey! We still have each other!"

Valid point. "True true! Have you finished that song?"

"Almost!"

We continue blabbering about graduation until we see the boys! And Cassidy...

"Julia! Riley!" She squeals as she runs over. My poor personal bubble. It's been killed. :'(

"Hey" God we are so fake.

"I can't wait to leave!" She balances on the balls of her heels.

"Us too"

Riley diverts her attention to the gods- I mean the boys.

"You guys must be excited too! You guys have your music ahead of you, right?" They were a new band in the making and BOY were they good at what they do.

"Of course" Blake answers.

"What are your plans after graduation?" Reece comes into the convo.

"Well, we were planning on going to Nando's," I answer, intoxicated with the thought of Nando's. <3

"Can we join you?"

"Of course," the oblivious flirt named Riley smiles, her deep dimples on full display.

I kinda zoned out after Reece compliments her on them. Y'know... Blake is cute. And handsome. And adorable. And that ACCENT! OM-

"And the glasses! That's also it!" Leave it to George to interrupt my... thoughts.

"Yeah! I'm really blind! I wear contacts though." Ahh, Riley's Harry Potter glasses. Hehe, Harry Potter.

"Why aren't you wearing them today?"

"Too lazy," She slightly shrugs.

"She looks like Harry Potter!" I just had to.

"Hey, Reece does too when he has his." I smile at the thought. You're a wizard, Reece.

"Shut up" Awe, they even say stuff at the same time.

"George! Wanna walk me to class?" Cassidy says, shamelessly.

"Umm..ok. Sure! See ya later!" He doesn't look too happy about that.

"Bye!" We all bid.

Finally. "Great. Now she's gone!" Whew.

"You don't like her do you?" Blake asks. That along with his chuckle and head pressed up against the wall is enough to get me looking at the ground.

"It's kinda complicated." I smile still not looking up. Lawd Jesus, this kid.

"Basically it's just that she dumped us over you guys." Remind me to thank Riley for saving my ass.

"Yeah! And it's kind of annoying." Reece states, also leaning against a wall.

"Really? I thought you guys liked her!"

"I mean it's just... she's ALWAYS around George and never leaves him alone! And it's bothering us! And it's bothering George a bit too to tell you guys the truth." Blake looks frustrated about this whole situation, as he tells us what's going on.

"Damn! That's shocking!" And I think I speak for me and Riley when I say this.

"How so?"

"You guys seem like really nice guys that would never hate or find any girl annoying!"

"Well... only to her at least!" Reece smiles wide. He and Riley seem to be in their own love world. I look over at Blake, who, may I tell you, was looking in my direction. We hold eye contact for a couple seconds before he winks... he winks. I feel my face heat up, once again, and I avert my eyes to my very interesting nails.

...

We leave pretty early and head to class because Riley is a "good girl" and she wants to "be on time". She only says these thing around Reece.

Reece's P.O.V.

I prefer being with Riley and Juju because they are so funny and interesting to be around. Good luck to George and his not-so-secret admirer. I like this duo but Riley! I just love her presence and her personality. I love the way she speaks and how she's frequently pushing her glasses up her nose. She's - what people might say - perfect!
