I was standing there, fidgeting with the scarf around my neck. I never knew the joys of scarfs until I went blind. I could stop wearing glasses, when before if I ever wore a scarf my glasses would get all foged up. It was a bit warm for a scarf, but it helps hide my face in public. With releasing an album recently I'm getting recognized more.

"What is taking Victor so long?" I asked. I smirked think of the events that lead to what was going on.

It was the middle of the night, but I was up writing a song. Then my phone buzzed. I checked it, thibking it wad just a random notification. It was a text from Victor.

V: We should go on a date!

A: ....
I have a boyfriend.
And you're engaged to my brother...

V: Exactly!
We are going to be family, yet I know nothong about you.

A: ummm, I like music, and that's about it...
You know this.

I then got a text from someone else. It was Yuri.

Y: Just agree so he'll go to sleep.
Wait, shouldn't you be asleep? You have school tomorrow.

A: Whatever, Mom.

I weng back to my conversation with Victor, as he finally got around to reasponding.

V: That can't be the only thing about you! You have to have more interests! I don't even know why you're dating Yurio! Please, just get coffee with me or something.

A: Fine, you gotta go to bed now.

V: Yay! Let's do it this weekend before you leave for Skate Canada!

I didn't answer to the text and went back to my music.

The weekend had come, and we decide to go for drinks instead. More Victor would prefer that. Once again. I was just doing this cause I doubted there was any way out of it.

"I'm ready," Victor screamed like an excited five yearold girl, and ran to the entry way where I was waiting.

"Don't drink too much," Yuri warned him. He then turbed his attention to me. "If ge gets drunk call me. I don't think anyone is able to handle that." There was a slight smirk on his face.

"Let's go," Victor screamed, grabbing my arm and pulling me away. It was an awkward silence as we made it to the pub. Victor seemed lost in thought. I didn't think it would be safe to bother him.

To hell with that. "What you thinking about?" I asked, taking a sip of the beer I ordered. "Think about Yuri's butt." He laighed at that joke.

"I am now," he said through a laugh. "So, umm... what made learn Russian?" At least he was trying. It must have been hard, I knew a lot about him. thanks to google and being a fangirl.

"Oh, well the college I got to, I wanted to go to since I was eight. So I set out to speak Russian," I shrugged, leaning back in the chair.

"I guess music dose influence you a lot," I shrugged taking another drink. The theme song influenced my favorite anime. The soundtrack influenced my favorite videogame. Yeah, music is a big part of me. "So, what's your favorite song?" I froze. The unanswerable answer.

I went to my go to joke answer for that question. "Either Quesadilla or Chocolate," I snickered. They were both real songs, but I doubt he knew it. But the lack of respons I assumed how he was going to break it to his fonqce that his sister is insane. "It's a terrible joke," I clarified, "I honestly like way too many songs. I've been listening to a lot of Sam Smith recently, but Panic! At the Disco is always a go to."

It got silent once again after that. I sighed to myself. He tired, now it was my turn. "Okay, I'm gonna tell you something really personal, so don't cry," I warned him. I felt all his attention shift to me instead of the drink in his hand. "My first memory is of watching you skate. Yuri and I were sitting infront of the TV, eyes glued on you and your preformance. I was on his lap and he was telling me what every move was. I don't remeber much else. I think it was the one where you wore the Eros costume..." I wasn't sure though. I remembered it was black.

I hearf some sobbing from beside me and I was soon in a hug. Victor was crying even though it told him not to.  A conversation seemed to flow easier after that. He learned of my habit of falling in love with fictional characters, and a few other quwerks that I didn't go around flaunting.

"Aki can you help me with something?" He asked me when the conversation took a slow turn.

"Why are you even dating Yurio?" Victor asked, he was sorta drunk. More buzzef than drunk. "Like you're so different."

"We aren't really," I told, ad I was also on my second drink, "But I wonder that two. I sorta feel lole we're just friends, but more. I'm not sure though, he's sorta my first significant other."

"Sorta?" the Russian asked. Because of the alcohol I felt more confident, and my amxienty ead not screamong at me to cry in a hole.

"Well I had a girlfriend when I lived in Tokyo," I started to tell him the story no one else knew. "I wouldn't even classify her as a girlfriend, we went on one date. Well it started out as her trying to become my friend. At the time I was starting to put songs on the internet. I learned she was a fan, and I told her I was that person. Bot even a week later she asked me out. I agreed, not knoeing how to properly then down people yet. Long story short, she drugged me and tried to keep me in her basement. I woke up, escaped and called the police on her."

I heard Victor started to giggle. "I gueds you've always been small." I huffed at his comment.
