Prologue

Natsu

As I slowly opened my eyes to my blue cat, clawing at my face. I quickly shoved him away and rolled over, pulling the blankets with me.

I then heard a ringing sound and groaned loudly grabbing my phone from my nightstand and checking who it was..."Jellal," I mumbled under my breath as I press decline.

"Meow!" My blue cat Happy meowed at me.
I then rose my torso up and swung my feet until they were out of my bed, I raised up and stretched the lower half of my back, yawning.
I walked down stairs looking at my clock it was
9:31 am, I opened the freezer and grabbed a eggo waffle and put it in the toaster I then opened my fridge as I combed my hair out with my finger, grabbing some orange juice. Closing the fridge back I walked over to a cabinet and grabbed a clear tall glass and poured the OJ into the cup.

I then heard a 'Pop' like noise and quickly put away the OJ and grabbed a paper plate. Grabbing the hot eggo waffle and setting it on my plate, chowing down on it. After I finished it in about ten seconds I threw away the paper plate and walked up stairs to my bedroom, I opened my closet and grabbed a plain green t-shirt and some ripped jeans along with converses. I yawned once more and grabbed my phone, it was a iPhone 6. I petted Happy, grabbed my car keys and left my small two story home.

As I walked into a bar called "The Alibi" my friend Jellal owns it, and I also work as a bartender here.
I was looking down at my phone playing piano tiles two, I was at 2,000 already as I bumped into a figure, which made me mess up. I looked up and saw Jellal, looking pretty pissed.
He had flat-ish blueberry colored hair, a red tattoo that went over his eye and was a pretty muscular man. He was tapping his foot on the ground like a mom would.
"Hi."

I simply said and walked pasted him, going behind the bar. Grabbing a rag and began to clean it.

He walked up to me, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Natsu you do realize what time it is right?" He questioned me, I nodded my head in reply, knowing I was suppose to be here by eight 'o clock.

He shook his head and walked away, not even wanting to argue with me. A costumer then walked in, not one that we usually have though. "I-I'll have a gentlemen jack on the rocks," she stuttered at me, I usually don't ask for a ID but this girl seemed younger than 21, well hell I just turned 22.

"ID please," I asked casually, her eyes slightly winded but she tried to play cool, she then reached into her small white purse and grabbed a baby blue wallet, opening it she grabbed the ID card and handed it to me. You had to be born by X763 and hers said X764. I chuckled slightly and looked at her. She looked at me with pleading eyes, I checked her ID once more "Okay, Lucy one gentlemen jack on the rocks," i said and smiled and winked at her. Handing her ID back I grinned and began to make her drink.

From that day forward she began to come in and she became a local, she only came in during my shift hours. Which I told her, no one asked if she was of age and no one found out, me and her became pretty close friends, I never thought of her as more than that until one day. I got a text from her 'I'm sorry' it was so random yet for some reason I got so scared and I immediately grabbed my coat yelled to Jellal that I had to go and left, sprinting to her house I climbed up the side and opened the window, which she never kept locked.

As I opened it I was panting and I heard soft and quiet sobs.

"Luce?" I questioned, I walked over to her bathroom and slowly opened it to see her on the ground, WITH clothes on, sobbing. Trying to wipe the tears away she looked up shocked "N-Natsu?" She asked....

I hope you liked the prologue, this is my first story ever so I hope I didn't mess up and this was not edited, I tried my very best thanks.
