being the dumb bitches we were, we decided to follow the "demogorgons", as dustin called them. we walked on the train tracks until the kids started fighting about dart.

i heard something growling in the woods, and i walked over to the edge of the tracks.
"your stupid pet could've ate us for dinner!" lucas shouted.
"that was not my fault!" dustin shouted in return.
"hey guys!" i shouted, trying to move their attention to the hissing in the woods.
"he wasn't going to eat us!" dustin explained.
"oh so he was just trying to say hello?" lucas retorted.
"guys!" i yelled. it went completely quiet and they shut the hell up. i stepped forward and they all followed. we continued walking all the way to the hawkins lab, where we decided to stop.
however, we heard rustling in the trees. i grabbed my bat and out my arms in front of my kids to shield them from whatever it was. emerging out of the trees came...
nancy and jonathan.

"steve?" she stuttered.
"nancy?" i replied.
"what are you doing here?"
"i can ask you the same question."
"we need to get in the lab," jonathan said, moving for the box that opened the gate. he pressed it, but it didn't work.
"let me try," dustin said, shoving jonathan out of the way. he slammed it almost a hundred times before it finally opened. when it did, we saw two cars coming out. we hid behind the box until we saw who was driving.
"get in," hopper shouted. hopper was my dadspiration, if you're wondering.
we all piled in and drove back to the byer's house. hopper explained to us that the demogorgons took over the lab and killed almost everyone in sight. he also said bob died trying to reboot the system. i never knew him, but he's where i got my momspiration from.
he then told us that will was inhabited by the shadow monster, basically the big ass version of a demogorgon. they put will to sleep and were driving him to the byer's house, where he would stay until the monster came out.
