"ARIEL!"

I woke up and looked around me in a frenzy, but all I saw were half-full boxes. I hated moving, my mom was getting married and he lived in Cali, so we were the ones who had to move not him.

I slowly got up, stretched, and walked to my bathroom. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair. When I got out I wrapped a towel around me and blow dried the mirror to get the fog to dissipate faster.

I looked at myself and sighed. I had naturally red curly hair down to my waist, grey blue eyes, and natural red lips, nobody believed me that It was natural except my best friends.

I lined my eye with silver eyeliner and put on some mascara. I then went to my room tossed on some random underwear and then put on some blue ripped skinny jeans and a baby blue shirt that said 'I'm a nerd;)'. I added some red convers.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I turned to go around the island and tripped on a box. I fell and hit the ground.

"Ughhhhhhhh" I moaned

"What did you do this time Ariel?" My mom walked in and shook her head at me

"I tripped over your stupid box that you forgot to move" I playfully glared at her

"Oops sorry." She said and walked out the door to go to work.

"Well fine then don't say goodbye" I mumbled. The door slammed open,

"Goodbye love you!" She said and then I heard her car turn on and then drive away.

It sucks I only have 2 weeks left of summer with my friends before we have to move to Cali. Buzz Buzz. I looked down at my phone and it said I had a text from my best friend Taye.

(T-Taye, A-Ariel)

T: Hey chicka! Pack a bag for the day through tomorrow. Daniel and I have something for you!:)

A: Okay what all should I bring?

T: Bring 3 swim suits, 2 jean shorts, 2 crop tops, some tanks, flip flops, etc.

A: Damn girl, how long are we going to be there?

T: A couple days:)Also I have another trip planned before you leave to:)

A: Haha okay, well where do you want me to meet you?

T: Just meet me at our hang out spot:)

A: Sounds good see you soon

I put my phone in my pocket and headed back into my room. I packed everything I needed to, walked downstairs and grabbed my keys. I went outside to my yellow hummer that had the #3 on it like in ZombieLand.

I drove to our spot, it was at an old abandoned game arcade. I walked inside and up the stairs on my left, and I crawled under the half broken door.

I heard steps coming up the stairs. I saw a petite brown headed girl pop through the door.

"Aaaarrrrriiiieeeellll!" Taye screamed

"Taaaayyyyyeee!" I said laughing

"It seems like forever since I've seen you"

"You just saw me yesterday"

"So? That has nothing to do with it. 24 hours is a long time to not see your best friend"

"Ya know sometimes I swear that you're  weird" I said smiling at her
