If you think you're the only one with problems, you're horribly wrong. Heads up, princess, the world doesn't revolve around you. It's selfish to believe that you're the only one going through something dramatic in your life and you should know there's always worse. Thinking that nothing could be worse than your daddy grounding you from your pink mustang or not getting a good grade on a test. If that makes you think your life is shit then I'm pretty sure you're not human. Society in this day and age is terrible! Absolutely horrid. What about depression? Death? Self- hatred? Addiction? Think about it. You may not think your life is the best, and not everybody's is, but there's always worse. Not everyone's life can be glitz and glamour. Get used to it. That's 2014 for you.
It's truly crazy what this world has come to lately. Murders, rapes, kidnappings. You can't even walk down the street without feeling the need to look over your shoulder! How's that for feeling safe?
What about the technology? Some say it's amazing, which I can't really argue with, but it's getting a little out of control in my opinion. Soon we'll all just be sitting on our asses while our robot maids and butlers do all the work, kind of like 'The Jetsons', you know? I'm being a little hypocritical here. I myself am 'addicted to the internet' so to say. Doesn't mean I'm proud of it.
Don't even get me started on the music! Sorry, but some of us don't like hearing about drugs, sex, and money 24/7, thank you. Where's the quality, anymore? What happened to AC/DC, Metallica, Def Leppard, Kiss, and all those guys? I guess that's just my opinion though, right? Doesn't really matter.
Love? The word love is through around like a rubber chicken these days, (ha rubber chicken). What's genuine love anymore? Hell if I'd know. What I do know is everyone is so stereotypical about it. After a literal week they're like, "Aw baby I love you! I can't wait to marry you! Xoxox!!!!!" Yeah. Puke.
Speaking of love, people are hung up on this 'both genders being together is disobeying god's word!' Sorry...but your "God" is very hypocritical for putting a homosexual person on this planet and expect them not to be...well gay. You can kiss my ass if you're homophobic. In the wise words of Morgan Freeman, "I hate the word homophobia. It's not a phobia. You're not scared. You're an asshole."
