"The only way to lift ze curse iz to offer up the rest of your summer to a pretty girl you see on ze street."

Madame Louisa says with her heavy French accent.

"Could you speak English? I'm from America." I say slowly, laughing as her face turns red.

" Dis, is de reason you have ze curse." She replies.

"Now unlez you do not find ze girl, you shall be stuck wit ze curse forever."

I rub my temples slowly before standing up. "At least it has to be a pretty girl right?" I say winking at Madame Louisa. She rolls her eyes and opens her curtain, telling me to leave. I nod and step into the bright sun.

I head back to the pier and start searching for that "special" girl.

i see a cute little restaurant that seems like something girls would go to so I enter.

"what'll it be?" the barista says. she has a strong British accent. she looks about 18, obviously to young for me.

"one green tea please." I wink.

she giggles and walks in back.

I lean on the counter and look around. there are multiple girls on laptops but only one reading.

she has medium brown-red hair and bright brown eyes. her slim figure shows of curves that make other women jealous. I realized I had been staring to long when she noticed me staring at her. she quickly closed her book, got up, and walked out.

"well so much for that." I mumbled.

"here you go sir."

I grab my cup and walk out. the women is only a few feet away so I quickly catch up with her.

"and what shall I do today?" she says to no one inparticular.

"how about you go on a date with a dashing young man?" damn. that sounded better in my head.

"and why would i- oh, it's you." she turns around and blushes violently.

god she was gorgeous.

"well don't sound to excited to see me." I reply a little disappointed.

I spaced out for a minute. not realizing I was responding to her without thinking.

"so you are a pervert." she asked.

what had I been saying. oh no.

"no not at all." I replied smoothly.

I held my hand out.

she raised her brow obviously not knowing how to shake hands. I took her hand and brushed my lips across her knuckles. causing her to shiver.

"I'm christof Denobar."

"Karly Greene." she replies.

god, even her name was perfect.

we talked for a little longer and I managed to get her to go to dinner with me. well, that was after I had to promise not to push her in a white van.

I quickly rushed home and took a quick hit to the gym before I showered and dressed for the evening.

I could tell from the start this girl would be different.
