"KYLIE MARY TREGLIA GET UP"! My mom yelled from down the stairs
I groaned getting up, my wolf has been up. Yes I'm a wolf, and something unknown. I was taken out of my trance by my mom slamming the door.
"Get dressed, your gonna be late. Oh and happy birthday". Said my mom then walked out.
Yes, it is my 16 birthday. The struggle. My 16 birthday is the day when you find your mate aka your "other half" aka the person that would die for u Blah blah blah. I got up and walked to the shower. I turned on the hot water and groaned, I burned my arm, but washed up.
I got out and walked into my room. It seems as tho my mom did the honor and picked my clothes too. She knows I hate her doing that. But she picked out acid washed jeans with tied bows on the side of the legs and a shirt that said its my birthday b*tch on it, with new shoes she bought. it was actually cute.
So, I dried off and put on lotion. I combed out my uncooperative hair. I was gonna straightend it but ill just ask my mom to comb it. I put on my clothes and my shoes and but on my earrings and some bangles. I sprayed on my Taylor swift perfume and I felt pretty today.
I went into the bathroom and looked at myself. I have dark deep blue eyes, and long raven black hair. I started to put on my mineral power foundation and a matte finish liquid foundation then eyeliner. I put on concealer then primer. People say I have natural beauty, without my makeup I feel naked.
I walked out the bathroom and unplugged my phone, and saw I got a text from my Friend corona. She was just telling me happy birthday and see u at school. I walked down stairs to see my mom putting nutella on my toast. yyaass. I sat down and she jumped a little.
"Morning mom". I said to my mother
My mom handed me my toast "morning sweetie. I hope u find your mate today. And god forbid u get rejected".
"Don't worry mom, it'll be fine". I reassured her
"Oh come on, your gonna be late. Get in the car"!. she looked at the clock and ran to her car with her coffee in hand.
I got in then soon my mom did the same. The ride there was quiet. I turned on the music and yas, my favorite song came on. Hold u down by DJ Khaled.
Before I was able to sing it, we pulled up-to the school. Sh*t lol. But I kissed my mom goodbye and got out. I was greeted by many people saying 'happy birthday or ' hope u find your mate' or 'have a nice day'. That was nice.
I was walking down the hall my best friend corona linked my arm. I was startled, u just don't come up to a person and grab there arm, that's how u get punched ha-ha.
Corona gave me a small present. I hugged her and opened it, it was a heart shaped locket with a picture of me and her in it.
"Thank you so much, I love it". I hugged her again
"Anytime bae, your my friend I never wanna let go". She smiled (A.N. no were not lesbian)
"Lets get to class before ms.maciel gets in a fit". Corona said with a chuckle.
"Lead the way". We linked arms again and walked down the hall into ms.maciel class.
So we walked into the hall way and turned right and walked down a little more . The second came came up and we walked in Mr.maciel was on his computer like always.
We sat down next our friend Alyssa. She was talking to David, a person we know. Hes funny, but really nasty. Then Maciel started.
"Today was we will be learning about human joints and bones". He said out-loud when everyone got quiet.
He put on a video that was really boring haha. I was asleep, Alyssa was watching it and corona was on her phone. Then then door burst open, revealing Carlos Garcia. The cutest boy ever.
Carlos was tall, he was a player, he had green eyes, black hair. He was tan and cute. He had a girl with him, I feel bad for whoever his mate is.
Mr.maciel was pissed.
"Carlos, where were u when the bell rung"?! Maciel said annoyed as hell
"Don't worry about it". He smirked and looked at the girl next to her. The girls name was haydee acuna. She is soooo annoying, no joke.
Carlos let her go and sat in the back. I smelt something sweet as he walked by. I wondered... I looked back at him and our eyes met. His eyes looked regrettable and sadness.I was confused.
After maciel let us out, he pulled me away from corona and said it.
"I carlos garcia reject u Kylie as my mate". And walked away like he'd done the best thing In the world. I, on the other hand died a little.
Why did this happen to me?
