Chapter 4

Wednesday
Nagisa's POV
"Hey Nagisa!" I heard from a distance, I looked up from the manga I was reading to see Kayano. I smiled and waved back, though the smile was fake. Every smile for Kayano or my mum was fake. My life is fake. No, it's not my life, I shouldn't think like that. I'm just a puppet. Something to be used by others, and when I'm not needed or others are bored of me, they lock me away. Only letting me see a fake replica of freedom when I go to school. But, even that, has been ruined by them.
I was snapped from thoughts by Kayano. "Hey~ Nagisa?" She asked as she waved her hand in front of my face.
"Yes?" I answer.
"Good, you are in there. Let's go!" She said as she grabbed my hand and pulled my onto the train that had arrived a few minutes ago.

No POV
When they got to school, they were holding hands, like the morning before, and all the mornings before that. Nagisa waved to all his friends. Kayano, though, just smiled but didn't even attempt to make any sort of interactions with anyone except for Nagisa.
"Good morning Nagisa, Kayano." Came a soft voice from behind them. They turned around to see Kanzaki waving.
"Good morning to you, too." Nagisa replied calmly. Kayano greeted back, too.
"Morning!" Even though she looked happy, Nagisa felt her hand tighten its grip on his.
"You too are still so cute together!" She told them, Nagisa just smiled and Kayano loosened her grip a little, though Kanzaki knew nothing of it.
"I guess we are, huh?" Kayano asked, arrogance laced her words, but Kanzaki didn't notice.
"Thanks!" Nagisa said 'happily'. But, he was far from it.
'No, we're not. Won't anyone ever notice and help me?' He thought to himself. However, he didn't show it, and he knew the best replies to people telling them how 'cute' they were. Well, being the 'cutest couple in the school', it wasn't a surprise.
"Hi!" Someone shouted to them, it was Isogai. He was waving whilst walking to them.
"Hey." Nagisa replied. Contrary to what others thought, Nagisa and Isogai were quite close, but, even though Nagisa was gay, he didn't think of Isogai that way. More like... an older brother. In fact, Isogai was the very first person that found out that Nagisa was gay, and one of the very few people who knew about it, too.

A/N
Sorry the chapter is quite short and that Karma isn't in it. I don't think he's going to be involved very much in the next few chapters, but after that he will be. Isogai will play a bit of an important part in this, just saying.
