Chapter 3

I was walking around for some time now and I was lost. That would be the obvious thing for someone who didn't know where they were going since this is there first time in the world.

I collided with something and backed away. I touched it with my hand. It was hard. I felt it and realized it was a tree. I sat down and took out my diary.

March 22

Dear Diary,

Today had been a horrible day. I figured out that my dad died and I also figured out that they were planning on putting me in a foster home. After that I ran away and now I'm lost in the woods.

The pages soon started to get wet due to some drops. I touched my cheek and noticed that I was now crying. I guess all the tears were now starting to come out.

I heard some rummaging of bushes. "Shhhh. Don't make too much noise. She will hear us." someone whispered.

I got up and started to back away until I hit something again. I let out a scream and now the tears were pouring.

"See you made her cry." said a boy with auburn hair. I was now on my bum and my hands were on my face.

A curly haired boy came up to me and said "It's ok. We won't hurt you."

I continued to cry. I didn't know how to react to strangers and I also didn't want to get kidnapped.

"Go call Lea. Maybe she can help in this situation." a guy with dirty blonde hair said. They were going to get another stranger. My crying slowed down and I was whimpering.

I slowly got up and grabbed my stuff. I was going to run away until I noticed that my diary was in the hands of a guy with black hair. He had a look of pity and I realized he read it.

Then the curly haired boy came back with a girl who had blonde hair. Mine was a dull, dark brown and I hated it. She looked pretty while I stood there looking like a potato after crying.

"Wow this is serious. Boys get out. Let me handle this." she said. Soon the boys left and I was alone with her.

"So do you want to tell me anything? For starters, who are you?" she asked.

I walked back until I hit the tree again. "Destiny." I said in a whisper.

"Thats a pretty name. Mine is Analea. You can just call me Lea." she said holding her hand out for me to shake. I took it and she gave me a smile. I smiled back at her and she asked "So what are you doing here, in the woods all alone?"

"I ran away from home." I said.

"Why?" she asked. The way she asked it wasn't in a 'nosy' way it was more like of a 'concerned' way.

"Well my dad died and then they were going to take me to a foster house, but I didn't want to go. I wanted to see the outside world. I ran away from home and I got lost in the woods. Then I was writing in my diary until I heard those guys. I cried because I thought they were going to hurt me. Plus I have no experience with strangers." I said. That was the most amount of talking that I have ever done.

She took all the details in and she said "Well now you don't have to worry about them. It's ok. Your going to be perfectly fine. Actually you are going to come with us."

"No I can't." I said getting up to leave. I noticed that the black hair boy still had my diary.

"Please it would be really fun. I mean we all have our own flats in the same apartment. You can live with us and we can have so much fun." she said.

"I can't." I repeated.

"Please. I insist. Do it for me." she said. I couldn't say no.

"Ok." was all I could say before she pulled me to an orange van. I looked at my feet as we approached the van.

"So you convinced her." the boys said.

"Of course. That's my specialty." Lea said. I looked up.

"Ok. That is Zayn." she said pointing to the one with black hair. "That's Niall." she said to the blonde haired. "That's Harry." she said pointing to the curly haired boy and "That's Louis." she said pointing to the one with auburn hair. "Then finally this is Liam." she said pointing to the one with curly brown hair, but not as curly as Harry's.

I nodded. "And you are?" the boys asked me.

"Destiny." I said quietly. They nodded.

"So let's go home. Oh and Zayn she has to stay with you." Lea said. I looked at her in shock.
