Alana's POV

"You said you were in the basement. . " I mumbled and he tilts his head.

"Did I? You agreed to stay home so I guess we both got caught up in a lie." I sigh and run a hand through my hair.

"Babe, this is a company. My company, I have for run it."

"Well yes, but not everyday. . you have to take a break sometimes."

"Take a break? We just came from our honeymoon, that was a pretty long break." I began walking towards me office and he followed slamming the door behind him.

"Are you seriously just going to pretend that you weren't crying your eyes out last night?" He asks and I purse my lips.

"No. . but when I come home from work we can talk about it. I need to be back here Aiden. It's where I'm most safe. Where I'm most. . comfortable." He looks offended at what I say then I gape.

"I understand."

"Aiden-" He doesn't give me time before getting up and closing the door shut.

I just stare at the door, before shaking my head.

We fight wayy too much for newlyweds.

Is this how it's supposed to be?

"Alana, there's someone here to see you."

"Aiden?" I ask hopefully and she frowns shaking her head.

"Oh, well let them in T." She nods and soon the door opens, "What're you doing here?"

My dad stands with his head tilted.

"Is this how you greet your father?"

"No. This is how I greet a murderer." I smile sarcastically and his jaw clenches.

"A fine place you have here. Hate to see it destroyed."

"Was that a threat?" I lean forward and he raises an eyebrow while taking a seat.

"Maybe. Maybe not." He grins and i scowl.

"I would appreciate it if you leave."

"I need some money." He crosses his arm.

"I don't care what you need. Get out." I scoff.

"Alana if you know what's good for you, you will do as I say."

"Get the hell out!"

"Last warning-"

"Security!" I yell and the door bursts open.

"You just made the worst mistake of your life." Two bulky men came and he raised his hand walking out by himself.

When I got home I have to say I was feeling a bit better. I felt lighter and dealing with customers had me going with a genuine smile.

Which is why I dreaded getting home, I didn't want to fight with Aiden, but he gets offended so quickly. . .

Twisting the knob, I find him fast asleep and I breathe out placing my bag onto the floor and sitting on the bed.

I slowly take my hand, and move it against his cheek brushing lightly. His hair was slightly ruffled and I wonder why he was sleeping at five o'clock.

"Babe . ."I whisper and his eyes immediately pop open.

Well that was easy.

He gives me a flat face before covering his head with the comforter.

"You're still mad at me?" I pout and he grunts. "What if I said I was sorry? And that I do feel comfortable with you. You're my home, its just that I'm used to the pastry shop being my home. And Lion was the only one I had so I'm not used to it and-"

"Alright alright I get it." He chuckles. "You're forgiven."

He uncovers his head pouting and I peck his lips.

"How was your day?" He sits up.

"Pretty good. Yours."

"Tiring." He murmurs, pulling me closer to him.

"I really do appreciate you babe . ." I mumble after a few minutes as we lean our foreheads together. "Its just a bit harder to show."

He smirks, "you can show me right now. ." he drawls and I roll my eyes.

"Calm yourself captain- i- can't-keep-it-in-my-pants."

He explodes in laughter and I grin, standing to change. He grips my waist and pulls me onto his lap.

"Babe I need to change." I deadpan and he grunts, burying his face in the crook of my neck. "I'm kinda salty so. . "

He chuckles, "nah, just seasoned."

"Let me get up." I groan and he sighs exasperatedly before petting me go and laying back.

I walk into the bathroom and take a long shower before walking out and Aiden was just laying there, staring at me while I was putting my clothes on.

Creep.

I climb onto bed and lay happily next to my husband.

"I love your tiger marks. ."He mumbles and I furrow my brows. He traces over my stretch marks, that spread across my hips and I nod.

"I do too." In all honesty, I did love my marks. I don't understand how women find it unattractive.

"You're just absolutely stunning." He says and I raise an eyebrow. Something's up.

"Alright. What do you want?" He chuckles getting caught.

"Come with me to work tomorrow."

"Yea?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Yea."

"Okay."

"Finally, you agreed to something."

"Shuddup." I murmur. He pats his lap and I raise an eyebrow.

"I thought you were tired."

"Just get on my lap." He gives me a flat face and I giggle, moving to sit on him. He grabs both my hands, and intertwining them. "You trust me right?"

I furrow my brows, "of course."

"Then you would tell me everything. . " I nod. "So. . when were you going to tell me your dad visited your office."

Oh.

Dang it Trina.

"I didn't think it was much of a big deal. ."

"He got hauled out by security." He deadpans and I sigh.

"Its fine. I can deal with it."

"Babe, how many times do I have to tell you you're not alone in this." He murmurs and I sigh.

"I know, I know."

"Then you have to tell me these things. How am I going to protect you when you need me to?" I open my mouth to speak, "don't say you can't protect yourself."

I close it and he rolls his eyes.

"You're just too independent." He chuckles and I grin.

"Can't stop, won't stop, get guap." I sing dancing and Trina nods her head.

"Tan white toes in em toy flip-flops." She continues.

"Manicures and pedicures I'm always tip top." I wipe the table and she swings her hips.

"When they say I'm not hot-"

"All these lies need to stop." We both laugh, mimicking dance moves.

"Cause I'm icy wifey."

"Haters wanna fight me." I 'try' to twerk while Trina does it effortlessly.

"Never been the one get R. I. P upon-"

"Eh hem." We both jump as Aiden and some other man stands in the living room with their hands in their pockets.
