Life is a game, and its definitely not fair.

And its harsh reality that we have leaders that dont care.

Look around, what do you see?

Is there anything to celebrate about or a reason to be filled with glee?

Right around the corner is the man without a home.

He lost his house when he didnt pay back that loan.

But how is he supposed to pay?

Hes been without a job for 2 years and a day.

And whats worse is that hes a veteran.

He fought in wars, and it seems he is fighting a battle yet again.

Dont you see? Its way too rough

They focus on themselves, and not the important stuff.

From the shooting in conneticut,

To discussing whats irrelevant,

Nothing is ever addressed.

The government will never clean up their mess.

People will starve, people will die

And the government pretends not to know why.

The powerful people in this world will just sit in their big comfy chair,

And millions of people with cancer will continue to lose hair.

There are people who suffer to get bye,

They're the ones in the rain not staying dry.

But its not just here,

Its all across the sea.

We're not defending our nation,

We are killing in the name of peace.

But it isnt real peace.

Peace will never come till we cease.

Killing another human isnt right.

We slaughter and burn everything in sight.

And if we continue this way of action, then peace is just a figment of the imagination.

It will be a failure to listen, and a failure in education.

But im not one to talk,

I never helped the man sleeping on the sidewalk.

I may not be the cause of the problem,

But im not even trying to solve 'em.

When you dont help the poor man, the bum,

Then you are nothing but scum.

If you dont stand up for whats right,

then you will never see the light.
