PROLOGUE
She ran, all she could think of was to reach the safe house before they got her. she could hear them crashing through the gnarled undergrowth behind her, snarling and grunting. They were gaining on her but she didn't give up hope, she could see the safehouse in the distance, its metal bars shining in the luminesent moonlight. the terrified girl wiped her hazel hair out of her amber eyes and shouted to the gaurd's to open the gate for her, but they couldn't hear her. her heart was beating fast as she screamed again for them to open the gate but again they were to far off for them to hear her. Tears trickled down her muddy face and splashed onto her torn jeans as they came closer and closer. She knew they had no pity on their prey, they wouldn't hesitate to rip them to shreds and eat them raw. they were cold hearted beasts and loved the taste of their victims blood pouring down their throat. She had to face the facts. there was no hope to survive. she stopped; her legs could not run anymore, they were shaking with weariness. she turned round dreading her fate, her eyes screwed shut. suddenly, a blood-curling roar was heard very close. the girl's left eye opened slightly but that was enough to see a face. a face so hidious, so terrifying, it paralized her with fear. they lunged at her. their teeth slashing through the air like knives as the helpless girl was ripped apart, gurgling blood, you could hear the creatures feeding hungrily of her bloody flesh.
The Hound Hunt Had Begun
CHAPTER 1- i just 'Love' school
The bell had just gone for break and the whole classroom was filled with a loud noise of chatter. I (Gina) picked up my school bag and stood up when i was pushed back down in my chair by someone behind me. I spun round and relized that it was vanessa and her 2 jerk friends: ruby and chloe. What do you want? I Asked in an annoyed tone. Your ugly your fat and your clothes are trash they all said before walking of, their mini skirts swaying back and forth. I hated every single one of those bitchy girls. I was taunted and bullied by those girls since the first day I came here because, I admit, I was fat and my clothes werent the most fashionable... I walked out the classroom when I tripped straight over vanessas foot which was purpousley stuck out. I fell straight down but was quickly pulled up by Ben, the boy I especially liked. I went red as he asked if I was alright. The 3 girls stalked away jealousy clearing showing on their face. The only person in the school apart from jessy and Ella my two best friends, was kind to me. Although he has never stood up for me when I was being bullied but he never joined in.
