Death passed by the cemetery and watched the burial ceremony for Bion. Group of men lowered his coffin 6-feet deep to the ground. There weren't a lot of people, only the priest, Bion's aunt and her husband, and the men lowering the coffin.

"Hello, mister" the voice came from the back. It was the boy.

"You know you shouldn't be here." Death didn't look at the boy which was now standing beside him.

"Why not?"

"I don't know. Isn't weird for you to see your coffin descending under the surface?"

"That's the least of my problems now, Mister. What does this mean, though?" He raised his left arm where a newly bloomed poppy was glowing and full of color.

Death looked at the flower then at the boy. He looked from afar and a smile slightly formed on the side of his lips. It was a bittersweet smile.

It IS certain.
