Backstory (optional): LeFou grew up in a small town with Gaston and Belle. He idealized Gaston as the only person who would talk to him and not look down on him, so he kinda started trailing the other man around like a lost puppy. He developed a crush on him, which is part of the reason why he remains loyal to him despite his somewhat abusive behavior. Example of a bad relationship, kids. LeFou kinda doesn't realize that he's gay, all he knows is that women aren't as attractive as men are to him, but he thinks that's normal because it isn't like he has something to compare it to.
Other: He does not count as representation just because someone says he does. If it happens in subtext or behind the scenes, it isn't representation.
