"Bye Jared". As Seth walked to the cafe he stopped by the pet store to let his sister know he was going to be late at dinner.

"Hey Mila,can you tell mom i'm gonna study with a friend,and that i might be in a little late?". Mila looked at him with a grin"you're joking right?" she became serious and looked upset."You know tonight is the one night mom lets dad come to see us,and you're bailing? Uh no way you tell her yourself i'm busy.Bye." Seth thought for a moment he's never even been here for us,and she thinks this dinner means the world,i don't even wanna spend time with that asshole anyway,all he does is pretend to care and then asks mom for the money and leaves.

"you know mom pays him to come see us right!,that's the only reason he's here tonight.I got better things to do bye." With the cafe being right next door,Seth felt anxious.This would be the first time he and Mia have actually talked since that night at the abandond house off of Hanginghill lane.

When he walked in,there she was sitting at the corner table in the dark corner as he'd expected."Hey Mia." her eyes fixed on him as he sat down. "oh hey, i was beggining to think that you were'nt gonna show up"

"you can always count on me to be here when you need me"she looked a little scared or surprised by his enthusiasm.

"I mean yeah, of course I'd show up, I wouldn't leave you hanging like that." Seth felt that he was blushing. She got quiet and looked away "y-you okay?" he could see the tears welling up in her eyes.

"Seth.....I know you might be expecting some laughing and giggles while were here, but after what happened, I think we need to clear some stuff up. "okay Mia, your parents got in a car accident your mom passed and your dad gets paralyzed and you blamed me, so I think if anyone needs to clear some stuff up here, it's you." tears started running down Mia's cheek and Seth felt guilty because he knew he shouldn't have brought it up to begin with he knew how depressed she got after her mom's death. "No Seth, I got mad because i dont know how else to feel i didnt know how to feel i got mad at everyone espeacially myself"

"Is that why you cut?" he asked her softly. she looked up "no I cut because I enjoy the pain because it's not coming from everyone and anyone else it's coming from me"

"and what about that night at the house?" he said trying to change the subject "i don't know, i guess i just let my emotions get to me...." she looked away, breaking his gaze. "you told me we couldn't talk anymore because of the way you felt.....MIA YOU TOLD ME YOU HATED ME!"

"I KNOW!" she said jumping out of her seat. "Don't go please" he said grabbing her wrist forgetting her wounds. As Mia started pulling away Seth pulled her closer to him and kissed her. She looked at him crying and ran off. 

"SHIT!" Seth felt stupid for doing that, he enjoyed it but he felt bad because he saw in Mia's eyes that she didn't want that to happen. He was upset all night thinking about it, seeing his dad didn't help, he wasn't makinging it worst he just didn't wanna deal with his dads shit.

"Sohow have you been Seth, i noticed you were in a little late." "studying." his dad leaned foward a little "with a girl?" "why the hell is it any of your buisness" his dad looked at him in surprise.

"Seth..." his mom scolded. "can i be excused?" "yes sweetie don't forget to let Comet inside" she said as Seth got up "okay mama goodnight" 

"goodnight son" his dad said as he walked away and rolled his eyes
