Escaping the mate run ® (rated r)

I put on some spandex and a sports bra, tying my shoulder length chestnut brown hair into a tight bun. I shaved everywhere, no panties just spandex,  and especially no shoes or make up. I wanted to stay agile and light.  Knowing I wouldnt just be running with my weight but another 100 added on as I carry my little sister on my back and if I have to in my mouth as I run in my wolf form.  I will save my wolf till the end and conserve her energy if worse comes to worse. 

I glared out the window at all the males in my pack eager to get started and stake their claim on a very much unwanted mating. 

Being 19 this would be my fourth year participating and never getting caught,  since you get forced to enter at age fifteen,  it will also be my little sisters first. I refuse to let her be stripped of the rights the moon goddess gave her,  gave our race.

She mirrored me from looks to dressing all except for the eyes. Her's were a milky brown while mine were a dark blue.  she stood at 5'2", while I stood at a lean 5'6".

I never got caught because I trained at alpha level no I'm not beta blood or alpha blood.  I am a great warrior.  I trained my little sister as well.  We will never submit to the way this pack is ran.  The ways of this pack are a disgrace.  The goliath pack is a disgrace.  And tonight we will no longer be apart of it. 

My mother and father are the omegas of this pack since they were true mates.  I will come back for them as soon as I get help from someone.  This lack will no longer stand.  To save my parents from being killed or tortured we kept our plan to escape a secret.

In ten minutes the vampires will be out at midnight tonight to find their beloved due to it being a blood moon,  they have a higher chance of finding their beloved.  Our mate run is in five minutes.  The girls get a ten minute start and the men come after who they choose best capable of being theirs. 

I've been chased by ten or more each year none ever getting close enough to mark me,  but enough distance for me to claw their face. 

But tonight the alpha and beta's son will be participating since they are back from their private school for ruling a pack. Let's just say Tanner the alphas son always had a thing for me and Mitch the betas son is a little chat that thinks will get my little sister Lucy.

Over my dead body. 

A whistle sounded off signaling the girls to start their ten minute head start in human form only.

I kept Lucy by my side as we walked through the door,  the males growling and whistling naked and ready to chase. 

Savages. 

I looked at my parents and smiled reassuringly.  My parents knew I wouldn't let anything  happen to us.  As they smiled in return we were off.  Brushing against Tanner and Mitch as they tried to intimidate us. 

Goodbye savages of Goliath pack. I smirked as me and Lucy took off heading towards the west boundary which is the closest exit off this wretched territory. 

Its vampire territory but I can explain as soon as I'm encountered with one.  They never liked the ways of this pack.  I'm sure they'll accept us passing through. 

Girls were running everywhere as we went in the direction we knew no one ever had the balls to. 

Stories were told about vampires coming on our land  and killing wolves but they're lies that the alpha created to keep his control in line. 

He's just a coward and bully.

We heard screams and knew the men were in the forest I kept Lucy in front of me and ran faster. Paws pounding on the dirt behind us could be heard.  I growled and shifted slinging Lucy on my back.  I shot off with the four wolves on our tail snapping at each other.
