I sighed heavily, turning towards the trembling boy beside me, his eyes directly on me with various emotions being shown in them. Fear, confusion, and desperastion. As if he were scared of rejection. Confused as he couldn't understand half of the words he had heard us say. And desperate for affection, and as it turns out, he's desperate for mine.
Opening my arms with a small smile planted on my face, I softly said, " Come here." Without hesitation, he wrapped his muscular arms around my torso with a huge grin on his face, and I couldn't stop the giggle that escaped my lips.
