I'm not going to lie, being a teenager sucks. Especially, if you're a boy, who is never going to actually be called one, that was born biologically female. There is also the fact that I'm gay... It's a miracle that anyone would talk to me at all. It was at that time that I met him, and my whole life changed.

About two years ago during the summer, I went into a cafe and met someone. I lived in a small town where everyone knew each other.  It was rare to find someone who you didn't know. He had dark brown hair; brown eyes that made my heart stop, and pale skin. He was the same age as me (seventeen). We connected within seconds. In fact, when I went to leave, he gave me his number. We spent the rest of the summer hanging out. We did everything from bowling to visiting the county fair. Each thing we did was better than the last.

Then school started. And I was once again sent back to that horrible place, alone. No one would talk to me; all they did was glare and gossip. That is until a boy about my age came up to me.  "Hi, sweet cheeks", he said with a cheeky grin.  My face heated up the second I saw him smile. His name was Edward. Within a few months, we were doing everything together in school. We even tried the cafeteria's legendary slop. It tasted just as awful as it looked.

We went on our first date around Christmas; it was one of the best nights of my life. I had never laughed so much. Afterwards, we were an unstable pair that almost all of the school talked about. It may have to do with the fact that we were the only gay couple in school. All I knew for sure was suddenly a lot more people wanted to be my friend.

That fall, I found out why my boyfriend was so pale. He was a vampire. Soon after, I came out to him as Trans. We made an unannounced agreement that day. We decided to support each other through thick and thin.

The years flew by, and something amazing happened on the year of graduation.  Edward proposed to me after a romantic night out. We were in our favorite restaurant. I remember crying a bit, and then practically yelling yes.

After that we started planning our wedding.  Who would we invite, what music would be played, would there be a theme, and the like. We eventually moved into a shared apartment. He even bought me a binder. We ended up moving to a larger city for his career. This time we bought a small house to live in. Things changed after the move. Everything suddenly seemed to go downhill.

We began arguing more, and Edward disappeared a lot, yet we still loved each other. So we stayed together. That is until our wedding day, when his WIFE objected to our wedding.  After that, he kicked me out. He didn't even give me time to get all of my things.  My binder, my money, my clothes, almost all of it was left at the house. I got fired shortly after I was forced from the house.

I'm currently living on a street corner, and it's the middle of winter. I have nowhere else to go, and no one to live with or to care for me. The cold nipped at my nose. Today was my third night on the streets.  I sat hunched on the ground in only a thin sweater with a t-shirt underneath, some ripped pants, and a pair of worn sneakers. A small bag beside me contained the few possessions I managed to grab. My clothes did little to help with the cold weather. My body had slowly gone numb over the past few nights.

My head spun, as I struggled to stay awake. The world was beginning to get darker. My body trembled, despite the numbness I currently felt.  I heard a voice asking me something. I attempted to shake my head, to indicate that I could not understand. But found that I could no longer move.  Suddenly I realized my time was coming to an end. I was dying.  Gradually I became dizzy.  My body slumped towards the ground. The last thing I heard, before passing out, was someone screaming, "OH MY GOD!"
