Cael's POV
Lady slumber almost took me to her kingdom when someone pokes my face. I open my eyes and saw Alaina, my seatmate, pointing her hand in front.
"Nandito na si sir Draven, kaya umayos ka na dyan." Umayos ako ng upo at humarap sa guro namin. I didn't bother to thank her since she knows me well.I don't talk that much and people also think that I'm a walking fridge.
"Good morning class." Bati nya samin ng di man lang nakangiti. "Before I'm going to start our lesson, I want to introduce first your new classmate," tumingin sya sa labas at pumasok ang isang babae. I may sound exaggerated, but the moment she entered our room I felt the chills inside my body.
"Good morning, my name is Alicia el Ferreal. You can call me Ali."Her voice is freezing. She's smiling and yet her eyes show no emotion.
"Grabe, is it just me? Or talagang ang lamig ng boses nya?" maarteng banat ni Harriet. He's the class president and he's a gay.
"You may now take your seat Ms. el Ferreal, right next to Mr. Villaflor."
Since Harriet sits in front of me, it means she'll sit in front of Alaina.
Ali's POV
"Ali, don't forget about what I said," my sister really loves to remind me everything. "Make some friends, okay?"
"Worry no more Ren, I know what to do," I smiled to her and kiss her chick before entering my car and drove to my new school.
I remember my conversation with my sister before I entered the classroom. My other half is the total opposite of me. I tend to forgot nonsense things, and she always reminds me everything.
"Good morning, my name is Alicia el Ferreal. You can call me Ali." I smiled to them.
"You may now take your seat Ms. el Ferreal, right next to Mr. Villaflor."
I just bowed at him and my feet brought me to the empty chair beside a guy named Mr. Villaflor.
"Hi!" masyado naman atang hyper tong katabi ko. "Im the class president, Harriete Villaflor," he said smiling. Kahit hindi niya sabihin alam ko na isa siyang bakla. The way his hands move, masasabi kong bakla siya. Nilahad niya ang kamay niya and I took it.
"I'm Ali," I smiled at him.
"You know what girl? You're so pretty,"
"Thank you"
"Your skin is so fair and your hair is as dark as the night and-" biglang naputol ang sasabihin niya ng bigla syang tawagin ni sir.
"Mr. Villaflor!" galit na tawag ni sir. "What is ecology?"
"It's the study of interactions between the living or the biotic and the non-living or the abiotic components in the ecosystem-" hindi na naman natapos ni Harriet ang sasabihin niya ng bigla akong tawagin ni sir.
"Additional information Ms. el Ferreal," saad niya ng di man lang humaharap sakin. Tsk, he's rude.
"It came from the Greek word Oikos which means household and Logos which means knowledge."
Mag sasalita pa sana siya ng biglang may kumatok sa pinto. May pumasok na isang babae at may pinakitang letter kay sir. Tango lang ang sinagot nito at umalis na ang babae.
"Class dismiss." sabi niya at umalis agad.
Nagtaka ako sa sinabi nya since wala pa namang isang oras bago nagsimula ang klase.
"May meeting siguro," saad ng katabi ko at tumayo. "Cafeteria tayo!" yaya niya sakin at sa dalawang tao sa likuran namin.
Nagdadalawang-isip pa sana ako kung sasama ako, pero bigla na lang hinila ni Harriet ang kamay ko kaya napatayo na din ako. Geez ang hyper niya, nahulog tuloy yong panyo ko. Pupulutin ko na sana ng may nauna nang kamay ang nakakuha sa panyo ko. It was the guy who has a soul-taking eyes. I look at him and he handed me my handkerchief.
"Thank you" saad ko sa kanya at wala man lang siyang sinagot na 'you're welcome'.
"Hayaan mo na si Cael ganyan talaga siya. Mas magugulat ka kung umimik yan" sabi ng babae na katabi ni mr-i-don't-talk-to-anyone. "I'm Alaina Sanchez, you can call me Ina," buti naman at nagpakilala siya.
"Bilisan niyo girls at gutom na ang mga alaga kong butterfly sa tiyan." Natawa ako nang makita ko ang mukha ni Harriet. Kung titignan mo siya di mo maiisip na bakla siya, but when he opens his mouth ma di-disappoint ka lang.
