Chapter 20: Forgiveness? Fred Heads! I love you Maria. ✔

Mary was walking through the corridors of school, she looked into the student room to see Veronica, Betty, Kevin, Jughead and Archie all chatting and laughing. Kevin could see Mary looking in and the rest turned around to face her. Betty got up and walked over to her but Mary just continued to walk down the corridor.

"Mary!" Betty shouted as Mary continued to walk away and ignore her. She could see Reggie coming her way and she began to panic. "Mary!" Betty shouted again and Mary turned around.

"What?" She hissed. Betty grabbed her hand and took her into a science lab. "Betty seriously I can't be bothered for this." Mary groaned as she sat on one of the table.

"Mary I am so sorry. I shouldn't of said those things." Betty started off and Mary sat there quietly. "You are my sister and I should of never accused you of." Betty stuttered before whispering. "Murder." 

"But you did." Mary replied back monotoned. "You accused me of killing Jason. You said you wanted me gone. You called me a slut!" Mary shouted in Betty's face and you except me to forgive you?" Mary asked and Betty looked down at the ground.

"Mary I was just upset about Polly." Betty whispered awkwardly and Mary just laughed.

"I wouldn't understand, I hate her remember." Mary said sarcastically as she walked up to the door but she couldn't get passed as Cheryl came walking in.

"What do you want, Cheryl?" Mary asked crossing her arms over.

"What we all want." Cheryl replied, Mary furrowed her brows. "For the baby to be safe." Cheryl said sweetly and Betty just scoffed. "How can I help?" Cheryl asked and the two twins just laughed in her face.

"You can't, I don't trust you, Cheryl." Betty replied like it was obvious. 

"So don't trust me. Watch me like a hawk. Tell me the barest minimum. But let me help you help Polly." Cheryl pleaded and Mary shook her head.

"You think Polly's crazy." Mary shouted back and Cheryl nodded her head. 

"I do, I think she's crazier than a serial killer on bath-salts, but so what? She's carrying Jason's baby." Cheryl explained. "That trumps everything." Cheryl finished. "Do you know where she is?" Cheryl asked and Mary shook her head while Betty got nervous.

"If I did, I wouldn't tell you." Betty replied.

"Oh, my God, you do." Cheryl smirked and Mary was getting more pissed off. She knew Betty was lying.

"What? No." Betty lied and Mary turned to face Betty.

"You know where Polly is?" Mary asked and Betty looked at her with sorry eyes.

"Wow, you are literally the worst liar I've ever encountered. Spare me the details, Betty. Just tell me how I can be of assistance to my darling nephew or niece." Cheryl smirked.

"Okay, uh, Polly needs money. For a safe place to live. And for medical stuff." Mary replied back confidently.

"Cash? Is that all? I can talk to my mom and dad." Cheryl replied stupidly. Betty and Mary looked at her as if her IQ dropped straight down to five in the last ten seconds.

"What? No, Cheryl." Betty and Mary shouted like it was obvious.

"Jason's baby is a game-changer. We're all on the same team now." Cheryl smiled before walking away, Betty turned around to face Mary. Mary gave her the finger before walking out. She saw Archie walking down the corridor with Reggie. She stood there as they walked up to her.

"Mary can we talk?" Archie asked her and Mary looked straight at Reggie. 

"We need to talk." She said and he just nodded. They started to walk down the hallway. "Jinglejangle." Mary whispered and Reggie looked down at her. They both stood still.
