Chapter 12.

So I know this is on hold but I managed to write this chapter on my phone. I just really need my laptop so I can write faster.

Claire's P.O.V.

I sat down on the couch with my head in my hands waiting for Cole to get here. Wait a minute...I never told him where I was, I mean the address. He didnt even ask.. Suddenly a car pulled into the driveway. That was either Cole or Jesse. I stood up, waiting for one of them to come in.

Jesse's P.O.V.

We pulled into my driveway and Cole told me that he was going to go in first, then a few minutes later that I could come in. I sighed as Cole got out of the car and walked towards the house.

Cole's P.O.V.

I knocked on the door and then slowly opened it, entering Jesse's house. His livingroom floor was covered in bottles of Jack Daniels. I would have to talk to him about that. On the couch, Claire sat leaned over with her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands.

I walked over and sat down by her and rubbed her back. Then I finally spoke.

"Hey..you alright?"

She looked up, her eyes red and puffy and her cheeks wet, stained with tears as she shook her head. I wanted to say something but I couldn't find any words to say so I just held her as she cried into my shirt.

I looked over at the door, wondering if Jesse was going to come in. I stared at but I didnt move. Claire finally stopped crying after 20 minutes. I looked back at her and whispered.

"Hey, Claire...I'm going to go grab something from my police car so I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere."

She nodded and I got up and went outside. I opened the passenger side door and grabbed Jesse's shirt sleeve, and pulled him out of the car.

"I said to wait a few minutes, not half an hour," I scolded him.

"Whatever.." he mumbled.

Jesse shoved me away and walked to the door, nearly tripping on the way there. What...? Then I knew. He wasnt just sitting in the car. He was drinking in the car. Jesse was going to go talk to Claire. Drunk.
