🎤 Girl Singing
He kept me there, broke my mind;
My only solace was the Night.
[Touches the black wall of her void with a smile]
He wouldn't let me heal;
His presence a persitive evil.
[She frowns, and shrinks away from a growing light]
Night saved me, I love him so;
And I hope he always will know.
I know that I must hide;
[Her singing grows rapid, as the light creeps forward onto her]
So he'll never find me in his burning light.
No longer will my husband tell me how to feel;
Now his secrets are revealed.
[With a sharp intake of breath, her eyes snap open, and for once they are clear. They are no longer covered with the fog of madness]
